I am 29 and i have had a strange pain on the left side of my penis, kind of where the glands meets the shaft for about two weeks now. The best way to describe it is that it feels like when you have a bruise and you press on it, but it's not really that painful. The pain is localized to a small spot and does not radiate.

I can't really feel the pain when I press on it while it's flaccid or erect. I feel it most when my erection presses against my clothes, or when i put pressure on my penis like if i were to masturbate. It feels like a bruise, but there are no obvious signs of bruising. I would rate it at a 1 out of 10 on a pain scale. It's not really painful, but it has been there long enough for me to be concerned. It doesn't feel like it's getting worse, but it also doesn't feel like it's getting better. There are no signs of any curving, indentation or plaque. The erection itself does not hurt my penis, just when pressure is applied to it at that specific spot.

The reason I am a little worried is because I have been on a very low dose of beta blockers (20mg propranolol) for just over a year now and I read that a rare side effect of long term use is Peyronie's. I have no recollection of injuring my penis. However, I have noticed that I have been getting potent nocturnal erections recently and I think maybe I bruised my penis sleeping on my stomach somehow?

My GP has no idea what could be causing the pain, as she didnt see or feel anything wrong when she inspected me, but she did share my concern a bit when i brought up the propranolol side effects, so she wants me to see a urologist. It will be a while before i can get an appointment, but does anyone have any insight on what the pain could be from in the meantime?

Hello Alex,

I am John in Seattle, USA.  Are you in France?
Do you want to exchange some ideas regarding treatments?
I am using the Restorex now for one month and I can already see improvement.

My email is cernfan@protonmail.com

Merci!

I tried this last week and it was a GAME CHANGER!  I had only used my machine once or twice and it was so painful even with the wrap that it felt like medieval torture clamping my glans in that device.  I tried the makeup pads and BINGO!  I also made an adjustment to the clamps and moved the screws one position wider.  BINGO!  My glans was too plump to fit in the paddles the way it was configured and no amount of wrapping it with that thin gauze coban tape helped.  It felt like I was trapped in a mousetrap.  Now I actually look forward to my stretching and bending with the device.  I also apply heat packs and then I use the VED.  I am already seeing some reduction in my curve and it's only been a week!  HONESTLY!!!!

I know the soma is recommended by many on this forum however it does not have a gauge so I don't know why it is recommended. I have been led to believe over pumping is the biggest reason ppl hurt themselves.

I just bought a glass cylinder from la pump with a gauge and it has been working well so far.

The soma also fogs up much easier because the cylinders are a cheap plastic

I dont track length since I haven't lost any, but I've noticed since doing traction I can consistently stretch my flaccid to pretty much the same length as when erect. Before it wasn't that stretchy at all.

Also I personally much prefer the Restorex (more a convenience thing) and only use the PMP every now and then at this point so can't really say.

Hi, guys

a little update:
I am 1 year and 7 months post-op and everything is ok. Still straight, no recurrence of the curvature. Length as before surgery, phallosan and bathmate did the job here.
Maybe I'll upload another photo...

Progression of Peyronies Disease / Re: Plaque Position

Quote from: McQueen on May 13, 2024, 05:53:46 AMIs it unusual to have the plaque at the opposite side to the bend ?

I agree with Mikel7. The bend is going to be in the direction of the side the plaque is on.

I think tadalafil is better than viagara, since it last about three days. But the value of these pills, is it gives your penis a workout when you sleep. You get many boners each night, which stretches out your penis and pumps it. That stretching is good for maintaining length. I often wonder if I was using tadalafil a few years ago, I could have avoided peyronies, because the scaring may not have been able to take root with all the stretching at night while sleeping.
