Title: damage from pump?
Post by: drew67 on September 14, 2021, 01:56:13 PM
First time using a pump.  I was using the pump on and off for around 45 min.  Likely 50% of time there was a negative suction.  Never went past 8 but most of the time was below 5.  never got more than 30-40% erect and felt a little discomfort at time.  Is it possible to do damage base on this information?

I just started using my VED. I believe as long as you use a decent lubricant and don't overpump, you should be fine. I pump until it starts to get to the point where it starts to feel too tight and uncomfortable(never a full erection), then stop, hold the erection for 30 seconds, and then press the release button. I think I get to around 30-50% of my max erection. There is slight discomfort, but I use that as a signal to stop. There's no damage for me so far.

Always use lubricant.  Water based is the best and it will clean up nicely afterwards.  Oil based can get gummed up over time and needs a detergent to come off with.

Hey:

Read the prior posts with somewhat dismay! :o :o   I amazed that there are STILL members that JUST DO NOT READ THE VED FORUMS ABOUT HOW TO USE VED THERAPY! NOR EVEN TRY TO FIND THE SUGGESTED VED USAGE PROTOCOLS.

Once more guys, please read the protocols on how to assemble and carefully use their VEDs for Peyronies Disease therapy. They are ONLY guides and can be personally adjusted to suit each member's case of Peyronies Disease.

Again, DO NOT OVER PUMP THE VACUUM AND DO NOT HOLD THE PRESSURE AS LONG AS SOME MEMBERS REPORT USING ~~ FOLLOW THE PROTOCOLS

My apologies Old Man, the protocol says to hold the erection for 5-10 seconds. I should've specified that 30 seconds was my own personal time I used.

I'm 16 weeks in and the key for me avoiding injury is to not over pump and to limit vacuum to 10 seconds max.

Hi,

Just about to begin the VED protocol... the device I bought has a pressure gauge but only one cylinder... is it very important to have three different cylinders? What for?

Also what is the max pressure recommended to not exceed? Or is there an ideal/minimum pressure?

Kind regards

Different cylinder sizes because there's million different cock sizes. It's very hard to get a good suction if you have a tiny cock and huge cylinder and you can't fit a huge cock into a tiny cylinder. Also correct cylinder size prevents bending of your dick.

I think you know without a gauge when it's good to stop pumping. Pump to a comfortable erection. If your dick feels like it's gonna explode any second then maybe you've pumped a little bit too much... 😏
