It is my mission and purpose to inform the readers of this board of my experiences with Dr. Carrion's
Peyronie's treatment group at the USF health center, just North of Tampa.
Your first appointment will be for an ultrasound exam and consultation. This will show the size of your plaque and determine the best treatment plan for you.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ss9YskmYBV0 will show you the injection method simular to what was used on me. The injecting 25 gauge needle is very small.
I had 3 sets of injections of Xiaflex. (pronounced Ziaflex.)
My treatment plan was for one set of injections into the plaque nearest to my body, then the next set went into the plaque at the far end of the plaque and the last set of injections was between the two sites. I was injected on one side and the next day the other side was injected. A few weeks later I had a follow up appointment. Then I waited about a month for the next set of injections.
I recommend that you insist on the pain blocking shot. This will eliminate any discomfort during your procedure plus it will allow the injecting physician to be more agressive with your treatment.
This group can be contacted at the official generic USF urology clinic apt line of 1-813 250 2213
Dr. Carrion's staff are all very professional and understanding.
Good luck and I hope you have a good outcome.
Super
You just forget to add to your post what is your improvement regarding Peyronies :)
James
Thanks for posting, Super1. Glad you had a good experience.
I wrote an article for our local paper, The Venice Gondolier, on Peyronies Disease and Dr. Carrion if James would like to post it. Not sure how to do it, myself.
Great group up there. My improvement has held up nicely. Now if I can just get a ladyyyy ...
The question has come up about my results of Dr Carrion's treatments. The ultersound showed all my peyronies plaque is gone, blood flow has returned. Life is good.
Super1, Nice to see someone has had a positive of late :)
How much modeling was done and when?
Bump.
