Title: Concerned that I may have Penile Cancer Instead
Post by: Alias018 on January 24, 2024, 09:06:11 PM
So I have my first appointment with a urologist in 3 weeks time, however ive had various changes in my genitals since symptomns began (November) which dont seem to fall under peyronies but have me worried about penile cancer.

Last week i noticed i had 3 new brown moles appear on the shaft of my penis on the left, middle, and right respectively, all 3 around 0.1cm in size.

And as of today I have 2 particularly darker coloured marks resembling moles, one of which has a whitehead to it.

At the bottom left of the base of the penis i also have a palpable raised lump with a red appearance, this one is tender to touch and gives some pain throughout the day also.

I also noticed last night during an erection that the surface of the glans appeared cracked with distinct lines forming in it like never before, also feeling slightly rough to touch, and also that the top half of the tip was distinctly paler than the bottom.

It is primarily the appearance of the dark spots on the shaft, raised red lump at the base, and the 2 dark coloured marks to the side of the penis and above the testes that spark my worry for cancer. I am 23yrs old so i understand statistically it is highly rare, however so is peyronies at my age, and someone has to be the unlucky 1 in a million.

Any thoughts on this would be appreciated, thanks.

Is it possible you are hyper-focused on your penis of late and are noticing small skin details you have never noticed before?

Yes you are probably over worrying and stressing out and the mind has a way to play tricks on you. Also have you been to Dr Google about this?

I will admit that this is causing me distress that could be having an effect on my judgement of the situation but I havent found others with peyronies talk about the appearance of new spots/moles before. I would attach photos to help explain this better but it seems that the file size of my phones camera files are too large to attach here.

There are some skin conditions that do cause the skin to darken on your penis. Regardless, get that checked out. It may not be serious. If it is, the earlier you address it the better! Good luck!
