Introduce Yourself / Intro :)

Hi All,

Been lurking here for a few months ever since my diagnosis but figured it's my duty to contribute and hopefully learn more bout this SoB of a condition.

Age?
25M.. one of the lucky young ones ::)

What did your medical doctor conclude?
Peyronie's within 30 seconds. Plaque is very prominent, said we can do a Doppler at our 3 month follow-up if I want but he can very clearly feel multiple plaques.

How long have you had symptoms?
February 2025

What are your symptoms?
c. 15-20 degree curve left and c. 10 degree curve down; large plaque with 2 smaller plaques on left, top and bottom of penis. Plaque protrudes into the glans (unfortunately)

What treatments have you tried and what were the results?
PAV cocktail, tadalafil 5mg and pentox. Results? Not sure. Disease has been slowly progressing, not sure if any of these meds are slowing it or not to be honest.

Do you have insurance or means to get medical treatment?
Yep

where are you in dealing with the psychological aspects of Peyronies Disease?
Can't help myself from checking this forum and other resources almost daily.. I know it isn't healthy but I am hyper-fixated on this at the moment. Trying to decrease that.

Are you in a relationship?
Yes, I'd be in a much worse place if I wasn't, however the relationship is very fresh so this is as hard on her as it is on me.

I'd honestly really like to thank everyone on this forum for their contributions. One other note, I'd really love to pose a question to Dr. Trish, but appears I might need some additional posts before doing so. Thanks all!

Best,
M

Thanks for posting.

Currently I have about a 45 degree left curvature with slight ventral. Not on any meds but is something I might look into! Can you elaborate on how you position your glans for spots right under and inside head of penis I also have similar areas. Thanks!

Hello and welcome.
Thanks for posting.

I'll try to answer some of your questions:

Overall, I like your protocol. I think it's wise to do every day counter right and counter up.

1. Correction of torsion: have no idea sorry. Keep reading on the forum is my advice.
2. Adjust clamp positioning: it could be an option to adapt the positioning to target the plaques. What I do, is clamp the half my glans into the clamp since the plaque are right under and inside glans. Only way for me to target those plaques. Seems to work (without pain and without any other problem). My clamp positioning is the closest to the RestoreX tool.
3. Hinge effect: I think hinge effect is what you discribe. Kind of a indentation on that part (so the circumference of the penis is smaller on that area). It's very similar to a inflated inner tube of a bicycle with a patch on it. You can correct that with the VED (vacuum therapy).

I will say the same as Mike: do it every single day. Stick on it without pause, for months. You will see the results. I'm on month 4 and already 14° correction.

Do you take medication ? Cialis is good (2,5mg/day or 5mg) and will help for blood flow.

What is your curvature ? Keep us updating.

I wish you a lot of patience and good luck.

Hi all,

It's been 4 months on the RestoreX.

I changed protocol to correct my small upper bend. Instead of doing 2x30min, I do 20min straight, 20min counter right, 20min lower bend.

Results: It's still improving, but now slowlier. This month from +/- 36° to +/- 33° (left curve). I'm happy it's still improving :-).

The plaque gets more stretched out, so the hourglass effect gets more pronounced. I try to correct that with VED use 15min/day when I can.

Note: I missed 3 days this month. The first days missing in 120 days therapy.
Note 2: I've been going to the sexologue with my girlfriend. Wednesday, she will try the EMDR therapy on me to try to cope with my new penis which I still have difficulties to accept... + I'm still going to my individual psychologist. It's an amazing match, I'm super happy about it.

"It took a while to adjust to the feel of my new implant. It took me about 30% longer to achieve orgasm than it used to, but that keeps improving as I adapt."

Hi, and thanks for your contribute. Do you mind elaborating this a bit more? I guess it's hard to put into words, but you feel is kind of different or something?

From my personal experience, it can take a while until sensation gets back, sometimes even one year.

So you don't think he's still top notch and some other surgeons "got ahead" of him?

Surgery for Peyronie's Disease / Raphe after plication
Last post by memnoch - June 29, 2025, 03:55:06 PM
This is what the Dr's notes say:

"I now made a midline raphe incision from the subcoronal level down to the penoscrotal junction."

Pre-operation, my raphe was pretty thin. Post-operation, all the skin is bunched up with stitches so it is very thick, all bunched up.

What can I expect, will it remain large? I googled raphe incision healed but all I got were surgery pictures that I'd rather not see again  :o

I also have semierect/flaccid hourglass. The flaccid hourglass disappears when I'm laying on my back. Semi erect happens few times.
