Title: VED injury?
Post by: MacMathuna on March 20, 2020, 04:13:57 PM
I think I may have injured myself using VED today.

It's possible I injured myself having sex last night when I experienced some bending, and I made a separate post about that.

I subsequently used the VED for 15 minutes last night with no problem. But them I used it today and felt a lot of pressure and some pain near the base of my penis. I was using the A cylinder, and the first inch or two of my penis were filling out the cylinder, but my glans and the rest of my penis weren't. And this is where I felt the pain/pressure--in the part of my penis that was filling out the cylinder.
Anyway, I didn't think I was over pumping. I was limiting myself to 3-pump cycles and only going for partial erections (not even 50%).

I'm still feeling some slight pain/ soreness at the base of my penis. I don't think I'm seeing any visual signs of injury.

After VED today I took 200mg ibuprofen to target any inflammation onset by the potential injury.

Do you guys think I f'~c<+d something up? Have any of you felt pain during VED, and did it end up resulting in further damage to your penis.

Also, any suggestions for things I should do to mitigate any damage that has happened from VED?
I think I'll take a break for a day or two and try to leave my dick alone.

Thanks.

I did this once, it might be best to lay off for a few days until the pain goes away.

I tend to try and make sure i have blood flowing into my dick a bit before pumping by mild arousal or something. if i try and pump from totally flacid i get pain at the base.

Thanks for your reply, philtered.

I've been using a rice sock before VED in order to warm things up. I'll try to see if I can get slightly aroused first though (although VED is such an un-erotic activity).

And I'll take a break for a few days.

Your pain resolved then. No permanent damage? Do you have a theory as to what's happening here?

No permanent damage and pain soon goes. I'm not sure what happens really, maybe just forcing blood into it, rather than helping the flow once it's already flowing, if that makes sense lol

VED is a dangerous item, i use it too and sometimes i pump too much and feel some pressure feeling and pain/discomfort after the usage. And i take anti-inflammatories too, like ketoprofene or similiar drugs. So far, no permanent damages for me.. Pain usually goes away after 2-3 days.
