Title: New and lost on what to do and how to do it
Post by: Patience39 on June 26, 2022, 10:22:19 AM
Hi all.

I am reading these boards regularly.

I must say, it is filling me with great anxiety as I am looking for success stories.

I read about Dr Trost highlighting VEDs can potentially cause more damage and traction therapy has mixed reviews.

I am currently using somaerect for curvature of around 45 degrees to the left. The base is very weak and whilst I can get an erection with stimulation, I have noticed over last year or so how it has deteriorated rapidly..I have lost so much girth and length, it is unreal.

I am at a loss what to do.
I want to persist with VED as I feel without it, things will get worse.
I also want to see if I can try traction therapy, but again, that concerns me and I think I am in the acute phase of disease as I am in a lot of pain without erection.
Any advice from members on what to do would be great.during VED, I do 3 slow pumps, pausing for 5 seconds, going again and holding to a maximum of 5 seconds at full inflation on the guidance of imedicare.

My urologist Mr Rowland Rees in Southampton has not been much help and couldn't even diagnose really and told me to wait and see and buy a pump.

Thanks everyone

I think VED is helpful in a lot of cases as long as you're careful. On FT there is a lot of people saying they used VED and got a lot of length back. A vast majority of injuries is from over pumping, so as long as you strt off slowly and don't over do it there is nothing wrong with it.

Thank you for you reply.

I feel since using the pump, my peyronies has actually gone worse. Is that even possible?

With peyronies, anytbing is possible, there is not a lot of consistency. Some treatments could help one person then do nothing for another. It'll be very hard to say if VED had anything to directly do with worsening your curve or if it is from something else. Overall, I think it is a solid treatment for most people as long as they are careful. If you do not like it for yourself or think it's making it worse then you can try traction and see how that goes for you

Thank you.

I have spoken to a guy at imedicare and he has stated they do not recommend using Somaerect during active phase as initially saying it would help and this being recommended to use right away from my urologist Mr Rowland Rees.
I do really know where I stand now as I have been following the protocol correctly.

I appreciate you following up with an information reply
