This may sound like a weird question, but I was curious if this could possibly happen. Has anyone seen anything where pentox could prematurely age the skin? I figured because it affects collagen production that could be a possibility. Only asking because I'm in my early twenties and I'd rather not potentially age or damage my skin taking a medication lol.
In theory, yes it could. Although my gut says that you would have to take it regularly, for quite a few years to see a noticeable effect.
That being said, Pentox's reduction of blood viscosity could be beneficial for the skin, negating the effects of reduced collagen. Afterall, skin ageing in smokers is due to reduced blood supply.....
Pentox is most commonly used for peripheral vascular disease, for which there is no cure, so sufferers of this condition will be using it in the long term. Perhaps there are some testimonies online from PVD sufferers that might shed some light......
