Title: Best way to Research Surgeon Experience and Track Record (in TN looking for Dr.)
Post by: Tennessee on July 26, 2020, 07:24:09 AM
I'm seriously looking into surgery now for my payronies and recognized from this forum that the quality of the surgeon and their track record is critical to getting the best outcomes.  However, I've had trouble finding a website where I can gather specific information on surgeons about their experience, such as annual implants performed and their outcomes.

I know there are several people on this forum that have gone down this path, so any advice about what questions to ask, and where to collect that information would be great.  I'll be happy to share back whatever I find.

thank you.

Are you looking for surgeries for Peyronie's such as plication and incision/excision grafting or implants specifically.  Also, where are you located and are you willing to travel for the surgery?

Dr Joel Gelman

Call him, ask him about his success rate and how many surgeries he performed on peyronies and congenital penile curvature :) He is master surgeon.

Thanks everyone.  Specifically I'm looking for an implant.  It seems like the best way is to call and try to get some information out of the surgeon's office on their track record.
