Title: Anyone else with high prolactin levels?
Post by: samsung on November 28, 2019, 11:25:35 AM
My prolactin is out of range. Anybody else with this? I read that it is caused by pituitary tumors? Could it be caused by something else? Does it matter? My GP seemed to sort of dismiss it. It was normal last time I had labs.

Not sure about the 'quickly' part, but any hormone out of range should be confirmed by multiple tests before considering any treatment.

I'd ask for a referral to an endocrinologist.
