Title: rate my protocol
Post by: olowshinenine on March 22, 2023, 02:16:48 PM
I believe I am still in the acute phase of the disease as I still have pain during erections. I have had pain for a couple months maybe since December 2022 I can't quite remember. Either way I have been vigorously researching this disease and therapies so I can try to get ahead of it.
Please let me know if you think this might be a good plan for someone in the acute phase.

1) Daily Cialis 5mg
2) Daily baby aspirin ( maybe helps with inflammation? )
3) Heat therapy before traction
4) Traction for 1 to 2 hours per day ( taking a break if pain develops )
5) Soma correct VED following the protocol listed on this board

I am hoping I can stretch the scar tissue before it calcifies.

Looks very good except for the fact that traction + VED at the same time can be overkill. Both of them cause microtraumas in the penis and when you combine the two you increase the risk of damaging your penis even more.

I would advise you chose one of either VED or traction therapy and use only one of them. Just a suggestion. If you feel what you are doing now is helping then continue doing what you do! With traction try to go for at least 3-4 hours a day.

Hey man thanks for commenting and I totally agree, I am going to alternate weeks or days between traction and VED. Definitely do not want over do it.

I did the same thing before my implant. I would consider adding pentox in there if you haven't already tried it.

The only thing with doing VED and Restorex at the same time is that, different people respond to different therapies. Each case of peyronies seems to be unique. Doing traction and VED together, it can be difficult to ascertain which one is causing harm, which may be giving improvement.

I'd suggest doing VED for a month (especially if you have ED), see how you respond to it, and then add in traction. That way, you can determine if one is causing more harm.

You didn't specify which traction device you are using. The Restorex is used in a time frame of 30 minute intervals, The PMP is used for a longer period of time. Each one has it's merits and should be investigated for each individual.

I am using a product similar to the pmp for traction.

I'd suggest doing VED for a month (especially if you have Erectile Dysfunction), see how you respond to it, and then add in traction. That way, you can determine if one is causing more harm.

I will not be using traction and VED together definitely not trying to cause more damage.
