Penile Implants / Re: Titan Pump won’t work

Hey Stepone!

Your Dr. seems to be honest. There's a risk of infection with any revision and you had so many guys jump into it throughout the years only to either have complications or further worsen the loss length and not be happy in the end. If it doesn't cause you that many issues, then save up for a revision surgery and ride it out until the implant or pump finally give out. That feels like the best option for me.

In relation to the AMS pump update, i was not aware so thank you for sharing. They seem to be following coloplast footsteps on this.

Hey,
I am 24 years old and for the past 6 years I have been suffering from ED. I don't recall anything that could have caused this. I just remember a sudden loss of morning wood accompanied by a sudden loss of libido and spontaneous erections. Before I had no issues with erections at all, but after developing symptoms I struggle to achieve or maintain an erection for any meaningful period of time.

Since developing symptoms, I can't seem to achieve a 'rock hard' erection anymore and max out at about 90% on a good day.

I also believe I don't consistently get nocturnal erections because I have tried the 'tissue paper' test and some days I can wake up with the tissue paper still intact.

I have been to the GP where my blood test was completely normal and my testosterone was actually high, so the GP said that symptoms are likely psychological.

He asked me to try sildenafil or tadalafil. I have tried tadalafil which does help with maintaining an erection but I still can't seem to get a full erection. Erections typically fluctuate around 80% in terms of erectile quality and I can still easily loose the erection.

Could the lack of complete engorgement be due to corporal fibrosis? If there is corporal fibrosis present, can this be palpated? I have tried palpating but don't really feel anything unusual. Can anyone with corporal fibrosis share their experience please? What does it feel like?

What else could there be that could prevent complete engorgement?

Where did you get this information?

This is no longer the case. Cutbacks to the NHS means they are no longer issuing the SOMAcorrect on prescription.

The urologist you see on the NHS will now recommend the SOMAcorrect to purchase through iMEDicare and tell you it's cost is around £200.

I saw a urologist last month after a long waiting list. I asked if the NHS could cover the cost of the SOMAcorrect and they said no.

However they will cover the cost of Tadalafil 5mg daily.

RESTOREX For SALE

I bought a restorex because my urologist thought it was peyronies but unfortunately it is something even worse called Hard flaccid and traction is highly not recommended for me. Hence I am selling my barely used restorex that I bought for 530 euros but I am willing to sell it at a more reasonable price. I have the box and it contains unopened extension rods as well. Please send me a text if you are interested.

I saw a high-volume surgeon in September about my sticky pump, sometimes when I deflate, I am not able to prime it for next time. If I don't prime it, my penis will slowly fill up again.
The surgeon's assistants, new urologists asked me lots of questions and about 10 minutes later the surgeon came in and had me sit back on a table and pull my shorts and underwear down. Then he leaned the table back with my penis high to see. It was a little embarrassing, but the doctor was very professional, so I got used to him pumping and unpumping my penis. He said yes, this model and year of the titan does suffer from sticky pump but said mine is working good enough. He said good enough is. It works, it causes some work and discomfort sometimes from trying to prime my penis, but if it were him, he wouldn't replace anything now. He said the risk of infection is low, but it's still there with any revision and since it is still working although not perfectly, he said I had a "fine nice looking" penis, and if it were him, he would wait. He also said a lot of guys are leaving their penis slightly inflated as it gives the penis a nicer look if in the locker room. I thought that was interesting he said that. I said I thought I was supposed to squeeze as much of the fluid out as I could to prevent the cylinders from pushing through the end of the penis if left like that too long.
He said in all his years, I guess he was about late 40's, he has never seen a problem with the tips breaking through the glans.
So I am going to wait, since I saw him, my pump sticks about 50 percent of the time, so it's ok, a bit bothersome at times, but I can eventually get it reset.
By the way, I was reading about AMS now has an improved implant pump. "The newest pump for the AMS 700™ series is the TENACIO™ Pump, which was released in 2024. It is used with the AMS 700 LGX™ and AMS 700 CX™ cylinders and is designed to be more intuitive and user-friendly than previous pumps. The TENACIO™ pump has features like a one-press deflation button, prominent grip, and tactile feedback to improve patient experience.+
I am thinking if I eventually get a revision, I might explore the AMS implants with a new Tenacio pump

I was also taking finasteride for a while before my lumps and curve started showing up. Some doctors claim there is no direct link but considering the drug reduces a hormone called DHT, which is directly responsible for keeping penile tissue healthy, I find it increasingly hard to believe.

If I were you, I would definitely stop taking it and seek an alternative medication for the BPH if you can.

As for the effectiveness of Restorex, it would realistically require daily commitment for about a year, for a chance at a small improvement. In my opinion, the results that the manufacturer claims can be achieved are blown way out of proportion but beyond surgery, it is probably one of the better, alternative options available to men right now.

VEDs from what I have seen on here do nothing for curvature.

I also experienced the same problem. It won't lock in compressed position. Started last month. Had it since March 2025 so about 7 months. I will email them.

Introduce Yourself / Hello

I found this forum last weekend, after feeling alone and unsupported for many months.  I've read and learned a lot already from the archive of posts, so thanks to current and past members.

I was diagnosed with BPH three years ago. Finasteride was prescribed March 2023, which caused loss of libido and ED.  In January 2024, I stopped taking it for about 5 months - I wanted my sex life back! Libido , erections and my sex life resumed, but nocturia was so bad, I started taking finasteride again.  Low libido and ED ever since.

About 2 months after a flexi cystoscopy in May 2024, I felt a lump near the base of my penis, which seemed like it was inside my urethra.  Some weeks after that, I became aware of a downward curvature of about 30 degrees.  I saw a urologist in February 2025.  No physical exam,  but he asked me to take photos of my erect penis and bring them along to the consultation. I showed him the photos and he confirmed Peyronies Disease.

He recommended VED, but it was over 6 months before I was given an appointment with someone who was essentially a sales rep for SomaCorrect. I've been using the pump for nearly 8 weeks now.

The sales rep also encouraged me to use a Restorex, but there's only so much money in the bank and time in the day.  I've been advised to use the pump for six months.

Last week I had the first spontaneous erection in the middle of the night for a long long time, so the pump seems to be having an effect.

From what I've read on this forum, it's difficult to know whether simultaneous use of the Restorex would be a good investment.  It does look like a mediaeval torture device, which puts me off slightly.

If anyone has experience of using both, it would be good to hear from you.  Thanks.
