Title: Plication Suture Removal...
Post by: johndoe on July 01, 2013, 03:52:32 AM
I'm looking for a doctor in the NYC area that can remove plication sutures quick and easy.

Has anyone had their sutures removed? If so what was your experience like? Who did you go to?

Thanks.

I would check with Dr. Peter Stahl at Columbia Presbyterian, I think he has a good knowledge of the disease.

I am just curious. Why do you want them removed? Not working? Uncomfortable? Causing any other problems?

DO

Can you give some more information regarding Dr. Peter Stahl at Columbia Presbyterian?
I have special interest in this hospital, can't detail the reasons. :)

Every partner I've been with since the surgery has commented on my "penis bump." I've had girls immediately tell me during sex "hey what's this about" or afterwards like "hey I wanted to ask you about that bump on your penis." Now you can only tell that it's there by grabbing it (i.e. during a hand job or blow job). They can't feel it during vaginal intercourse. But it's very embarrassing when it happens. I find myself constantly trying to avoid having a girl put her hands on my penis, after a while they just become suspicious. Depending on your degree of curvature I say that the procedure is not worth it in my opinion. You're essentially trading in one problem for another.

That's why I don't encourage surgery of any type unless it is a last resort. Meaning that your curve is severe enough that it really interferes with intercourse.
