Title: Intro post
Post by: KoolAidMan on November 17, 2022, 02:52:16 PM
First off, I will say that I was excited to find this group. 😁

I'm 51 and have had Peyronies Disease for about 5 years.

I was receiving Xiaflex injections about 4 years ago to straighten me out. My plaque is on the top of the shaft, which caused the head to curve back towards me. The prevented me from having sex and made urinating in the AM a problem when I had morning wood. The Xiaflex worked well, but I am now left with what my MD said was the largest amount of plaque that he has seen.

I have lost almost 2 full inches in length and a lot of girth ... and hour-glassing on the left.

I think the emotional trauma from Peyronies Disease ... lose of size, odd-shape, etc has caused alot of confidence issue .... ED, I don't even try to meet someone for sex (I am single).

I am taking magnesium, zinc, and D3/K2 supplements and following Zander Holt's plan ... I started 2 weeks ago. But I would like to find a way of getting rid of the plaque ... and potentially regain some of my size.

Thanks for having me!

PS I see quite a few people have mentioned vitamin E from PDI ... is a full plan worth it ... or just buy the vitamin E?

Hello and welcome!

There's a great group here for support.  Many personal experiences.

How bad is it now?  After the Xiaflex you still have plaque?

Best of luck to you.

KoolAidMan:

Welcome aboard! Interesting that comment about your physician. In these cases.... you have a few options, but conservative treatments don't do much in your scenario.

You should look into:
-penile implant and plaque excision and grating
-only the penile implant itself

or plaque excision with grafting but no implant, but that comes with risks of ED especially if the quality of your erections isn't that good to begin with.

Please have a look at this link: https://malefertilityandpeyroniesclinic.com/peyronies/treatments/

There are a few surgeons out there that deal with cases like yours. Kurt Mcamonn, Lawrence Levine, Tariq Hakky, Dr Landon Trost, just to name a few.

Are there any photos that you would be able to share from your condition?

Hey KoolAidMan

Welcome - and thanks for sharing.

VED seems to be a viable option for people reporting loss of length and girth - using vacuum to stretch the tissues can help some people regain lost dimensions. Get yourself around the VED forum and have a read.

All the best.
