I had my first Xiaflex injection two days ago. The first night I had moderate pain when I would get an nocturnal erection. Last night I had severe pain to the point that I felt like everything was exploding - & it was unbearable until it went flaccid. I woke up 4 more times last night with the onset of an erection. Same horrible pain- When I had an nocturnal erection. Is this normal? I have not seen any hematoma or anything just the usual bruising everywhere and swelling. My doctors office never answers their phone and she never returns my messages on the email either. Thanks for your insight.
That pain is very normal. I experienced pain to and felt my penis was going to rupture.
Ugh - thanks! I thought I had a blowout last night. But no new bruises. I hate to complain about erections when so many don't have them. It's like Opposite Day - there when you don't want them and not there when you do. My doctor is horrible. But she is the only one in our Kaiser system in my area. Never answers calls. Takes weeks to reply to emails. I had to talk to an ER doctor this morning because the urology department would not answer or return my message. Thanks again.
