Title: Painful lump after 6 months
Post by: Jonas111 on July 02, 2020, 07:43:49 PM
Hello everybody

I found this forum while searching about peyronies on google and i have been looking around the forum about a day or so and wanted to get some input from you guys.

6 months ago in the beginning of february i had sex with my girlfriend missonary style and hit her pelvis, i felt a sharp pain on the middle of my penis that went away after 2-3 minutes with no other symptoms at that time and we could continue having sex and still have sex about once a week.
After a day or 2 when i injured myself i felt a smal lump at the base of my penis that when it is erect i can found it in the middle of my penis, so i called a urologist and asked for an appointment (at this time i didnt know anything about peyronies desiease) so the urologist checked me out and said that it seems that i have hardening in one of my bloodvessles and it dosnt seem to be a fracrute and the lump should stop beeing sore after a couple of weeks and i asked him if the lump should go away and he sayd it should in about a year.
6 months later and its till sore when touching it so i booked another appointment with another urologist and asked him what it could be and he said that it looks like a mini rupture to the tunica and i asked him if there is any chance that i can develope payronies desiease and he said that it is very minimal and it often happens if you have an autoimmune desiease or diabetes.
I asked him why it still hurts 6 months after and he said that it is normal and could last up to a year. (After he examened me and touches the lump i have felt a sharp pain shooting to the top of my penis all day)

I still cant see any changes on my penis like if i have a new curve or so (my penis is curved too the left but it has always been that way)

Do you guys think this is early stages of peyronies or just a normal penis injury that takes longer to heal?

An ultrasound should be able to determine if it is a plaque (Peyronie's).  Fortunately with no changes, if it is Peyronie's it seems stable.  But ongoing pain could mean you're still in the acute phase if Peyronie's.  I'd follow up w a Peyronie's specialist.

I just read my journal from the latest doctor appointment and the doctor says it can be a microtair in the tunica and then writes it can be a microtair in the ligamentum suspensorium.
Does anybody know what the difference is? And where do you get the lump/plauqe if you develope peryoines desiease?

I just called and wanted to speak to the doctor about the appointment yesterday, i also asked him if we can do a ultrasound to determine if it is peyronies or not and he said that the ultrasound wouldnt do any different, he already knows it is a lump and the ultrasound will only show the same thing, that it is a lump there.
What do you guys think?

For what I would call textbook Peyronies.... the plaque forms on the Tunica. It keeps the Tunica from expanding in that area which cause the curvature.

LWillisjr, does it always mean that you will develop peyronies if you have these symptomes?
I havent been able to get an erection since the last doctor appointment, dont know if this is psycological och fysical

No! It does not always mean Peyronies. And also Peyronies doesn't always cause ED. We start to worry and obsess about it and this mentally can impact your ability to achieve an erection.

Yeah, i think that its in my head and thats why i cant get an erection.
Is it normal to have does types of cordes while having peyronies?

I haven't read all your posts, so I don't know for sure one way or the other if you have Peyronies, or if you think you have Peyronies. And the chords you are referring might also not be relevant.

Hi Jonas.  Something very similar happened to me 5 months ago. I injured my penis using vacuum device. I have been to three different urologists and they all say it is not peyronies. It can be, as your uro says that it is some scarring from the healing process of the injury. I still have a lot of pain from my lump and on the opposite side of the injury. And I think the lump has gotten a bit bigger. But it doesnt mean its peyronies. How had things been since your last post? I would like to hear since we been diagnosed the same. You can write to me in dm if you like. Hope to hear from you!

Since I took that it has gotten mcuh worse I had barely any curvature at this stage now its 25 degree with a large indentation.

This is light.
I have a 70~80º curvature to the right. Yet I'm not desperate as I was some time ago. I think I cant' escape from surgery, and there's a chance I'm gonna need an implant because my curvature is severe, even though my erection quality is excellent.

There's technology today to straighten your penis and restore the girth and length. You just need the money.
It would suck if we had this disease something like 40 years ago. Or in the 1800's. Or any other time in mankind.
