Title: Surgery center in Germany, anyone with experience?
Post by: F550M on July 29, 2018, 03:08:18 PM
Good day gentlemen. As all of us I've been searching for the last 18 months or so and came across this place. I actually spoke with them and they seem quite confident in what they offer. I'm curious what you guys think and if anyone has first hand experience with this place.
Thank you

I mostly like their literature posted but would want to hear from their actual patients and their experiences.

I spoke with these people and I could not trust them. They were telling me different stuff than what is written on their website.
If you want to get a surgery in Germany I can suggest you another doctor, he also made my surgery and has patients from all over the world.

Are you in Germany? I'm Austrian but I live in USA.
Can you elaborate on your personal experience, results, cost, etc.
Thank you

If you are Austrian why don't you visit Dr. Kuehhas?

Well, my doctor was Dr. Djakovic Dr. med. Nenad Djakovic - Urologie Mühldorf (http://www.urologie-muehldorf.de/djakovic.html) he knows Dr. Kuehhas and can also use the STAGE technique in congenital penis curvature and he did a good job in my surgery. The results are until now how I excepted / wished from such a surgery and I am happy with it.
I did not pay anything for that surgery, since I have an insurance in Germany, but if you decide to make a surgery in Germany you should except 8000-9000€
The only problem with him is the aftercare, I am living far to his city and I need to contact him through phone or emails and I get not much answers. Most of the answers I got were from the other doctors in his workplace, they are also good but I hoped to get answers from him, he is either in surgery or not available until next week.

Thank you sir. The fact that I'm Austrian doesn't mean much. I've been in the US since 1982. I wonder why there seems to be a lot more specialists in Europe in this field. In America it seems everyone steers away from surgery and suggests xiaflex. May be its all about money like everything else in the world. Of course I wouldn't hesitate to travel "home" to get a good job. Of course follow up visits if needed would be difficult.
Thank you for the information.

Oh excuse me, did not think it in that way.

Well, maybe you should tell your exact issue, there might be other doctor suggestions for you. Is it a congenital curvature, peyronies or anything else?

Oh. Of course. Sorry for the lack of explanation. Yes. Peyronie's approximately 50 degrees. No injury that I can remember or think of. Started about 18 months ago. May be a little less. It it seems like forever. I've always been above average size so it getting shorter with this severe bend is a bit crushing. Sex is still ok but painful and difficult.
Thank you

Are you in the west coast?  Dr Karpman does grafting surgery.  Also, Dr Lue is supervising a doc in it but does usually start w xiaflex unless calcified.

I am in SC. What is the difference between calcified or not. How does one know?
West coast is a lot closer than Germany.
Thank you for your reply.

With an ultrasound they can visualize plaque and determined if calcified or not.  All experienced peyronies docs start off w an ultrasound.  Flaccid for peyronies and erect if ED.
