Title: Diagnosed by Dr. Lue. Early stage peyronies suddenly getting worse.
Post by: Youngdude22 on April 18, 2015, 07:01:57 PM
Hey guys
I first started noticing loss of girth, approximately 1/4", towards at the lower third of my erection about a year ago and started taking 500mg ALCAR daily. The ALCAR has kept the damage stable but I decided to stop it since it was too stimulating to me and was concerned about taking it long term (I'm only 22).
I saw Dr.Lue a few weeks ago and he diagnosed me with early stage peyronies. He prescribed me pentox 400mg x 3 daily and told me to take it for 3 months. I asked about a follow up and he said that I didn't need to, which was concerning, and said that I could communicate with him via email. I've been taking pentox for about a week at 2 times daily and my peyronies has gotten worse very quickly. I have lost about 3/4" length from the time I stopped ALCAR a few weeks ago to now. The blood is not draining at the rate it normally does when I lose an erection. I also an losing erection quicker once I achieve one. At this point I'm going to continue taking the pentox, but I feel that I'm running out of time given the rate that it is worsening. Anyone care to share their advice? I appreciate it.

Youngdude, I'm sorry this is happening, but I can tell you that you're in the best care possible with Dr. Lue - he's one of the foremost experts on this disorder. I'm curious as to why you're only taking the Pentox twice a day, versus the 3-times a day he prescribed. Is it causing stomach upset or something?

Hang in there - communicate with Dr. Lue via e-mail as he suggested, and read up on the various approaches described on this forum.  Don't assume that the damage you're seeing now is permanent - things sometimes do improve once you're out of the "active" stage.

Best,
Nemo
