I am 68 and have had this for over a year. Started at about 45 degrees and a twist to left. Now about 90 degrees. I wanted to wait a year and hear we are at the year mark. I am going back to Dr. and wonder if he will still do plication of the penis. I wanted to know how successful people were with this and most of all how painful, and what sensations will I lose. And naturally, how much length will I lose. Being 68 its not like I am having sex every week anyways, so I figure how much longer do I have anyways. So if I lose .5, rather not... but more than that, I may have to look for it.I am having an exam one day, and preop, he will then tell me the procedure and I scheduled for surgery the next day. If it is the graft, I do not know enough about that except it is more evasive than the plaction. I do not want to lose erections, and loss of sexual feeling. We will have to have a long talk before surgery. If I have to, I will just keep the 90 and my wife and I will have to use other methods of sexual gratification. What bothers me is I love my wife, and yes, I would hate to give up natural sex.. has anyone her had grafting and successful sexual fulfillment afterwards.

Personally, I would never get grafting.
For plication you can do the math and determine what the length loss will be based on the angle of the curve and length of your penis.
From what i hear plication is safe and doesn't result in ED or loss of sensation. You'll probably want to check the 'surgery' section of the board.
You might also want to consider Xiaflex. Also have you done traction with something like RestoreX? If not, you probably should and see if non-surgical mechanism will work for you.

We always recommend surgery as a last option. It is invasive and there are other treatments to try first (Traction, Xiaflex injections, etc.).
That being said.... I can tell you that the chance of these non surgical options providing a 90 degree curvature improvement is not likely. My personal experience is for curve greater than 70 degrees you are likely looking directly at surgery for that level of correction.
There several different plication techniques and other surgical procedures. That is really a choice of your surgeon along your particular symptoms and situation. I believe you are at risk to lose more length from plication over grafting.
I personally had "Excision and Grafting" and for me it was successful. I was very nervous at the time but now 12 years later I don't regret it at all. Still straight, still functional, and still using it. :-)
