It's been a week and I'm already noticing a slight reduction in flaccid pain and discomfort at work. My penis also feels more filled out and more flexible. Can't wait to see the results after 12 weeks. Thank you so much Dr. Trost  :D

Surgery for Peyronie's Disease / High Volume
Last post by SquareEfficient7618 - Yesterday at 08:02:04 PM
I always see everyone recommend going to a high volume surgeon.  I see 100+, but what is the lowest volume in which you would consider an implant surgeon?  Is a 50+/year surgeon high enough?  I'm sure there are many quality surgeons around that do not push super high volume.  Any recommendations in Central Florida or anywhere in Florida?  There must be some really good surgeons in my area without needing to travel across the country for one.  I still need to research the local Dr my urologist recommended for an implant.

Progression of Peyronies Disease / Re: Update
Last post by damnthatdent - Yesterday at 06:57:44 PM
Thanks for the heads up, much appreciated! Just came back here after a year. And actually I got lucky the dents disappeared now and knock on wood things are looking normal again. Reason I'm writing here is to let others know there are also cases where things get better. Right now I don't even think about the disease anymore, so my hopes are that its gone for good.

Quote from: why_now on April 06, 2024, 03:38:31 PMEvery evening I either use a heated rye bag or take a warm bath. I think the pain reduction from heating is because the overall tissue flexibility is increased so there is less pulling force on the inflamed spots.
Do you think it would make sense to add infrared lamp, is there a difference in the effectiveness/heat of that compared to the things im already doing?

I would really like to try the Restorex device, but its not being sold here in Germany :(
Guess my best option would be Penimaster Pro

Apprently you can buy it from the french website. Not sure if i can post links here, but it's just the Restorex french website. They seem to ship to Germany too.

Quote from: LWillisjr on May 12, 2024, 07:32:59 PMI've been on this forum for a long time. And I have seen many images. Some posted on the forum and some sent to via email. It presents really normal to me. I agree with the prior post that without before and after pictures none of us can tell you anything. I really don't understand what you are concerned about.

the pain disappeared, but i still feel like i do not get 100% erection as i used to. my erections used to be rock hard and somehow painful but now i feel like i am only 70% hard and i do not feel the same kind of sexual drive /libido i used to have. maybe this is related to me thinking of Peyronie or a testosterone problem? I do not know.

unfortunately, i do not have old pictures but, i believe that there is increased curvature with loss of girth (as i mentioned i only get 70% erect which may explain the girth loss)

i am getting my ultrasound result tomorrow and will check with two different doctors.

I'm sorry to hear you're going through this. Here are some steps to consider:

  • Talk to Your Urologist: Let them know about your new symptoms. If you don't feel heard, seek a second opinion.
  • Physical vs. Psychological: Your symptoms could be more than just psychological. Ask for further tests or imaging to check for conditions like Peyronie's disease or corporal fibrosis.
  • Medications: Keep taking Cialis and ibuprofen as prescribed, but discuss any changes with your doctor.
  • Rest and Monitor: Avoid activities that might worsen your condition. Keep a diary of your symptoms to share with your doctor.
  • Manage Pain and Anxiety: Pain can increase anxiety, which can worsen symptoms. Consider seeing a therapist and ask your doctor about pain management options.
  • Hope for Improvement: Many conditions can improve over time with proper treatment. Stay hopeful and proactive in seeking care.
  • Healthy Lifestyle: Stay hydrated, eat well, and avoid smoking and excessive alcohol to support your recovery.

Reach out to your urologist or a new specialist to get the care you need. Your health and peace of mind are important.

Everyone is free to choose there type of treatments. I'll provide this link to the Propecia forum -->Propecia Forum . I personally would never want to take a drug that blocks or lowers my DHT levels because of the possibility of permanently messing up my endocrine system.
