Title: VED - Getting Started - A question
Post by: usapd on February 23, 2015, 09:17:00 PM
Hi - I have started Pentox 400mg X 2 daily and VED one cylinder with the 15 minute protocol daily.  Cialis on the way...

After two weeks on Pentox and one week on VED, perhaps it's mental but I think I'm seeing positive results especially in the flaccid state and starting to experience night time erections sometimes which I also view as positive.  I have read the warnings and protocol on the one cylinder VED and want make sure to perform it correctly.  Here is the deal, I feel no pain what so ever in the penis during VED but a little discomfort where the VED seals against the body/base.  Is this normal during while getting accustomed to the VED device or a sign of over pumping? Again, no penis discomfort.

Thanks,

USAPD

I'm not as accomplished or practiced with the VED as many on here, but I've always found the pressure against the pubic bone and top of the scrotum to be the only uncomfortable part of using a VED. Some days, it seems worse than others. I've found if I have at least a partial erection, it seems to be less uncomfortable around the base for some reason ... but starting from scratch, totally flaccid, it can be fairly uncomfortable - especially when it presses on a testicle chord. I usually move it around until it situates itself in a more comfortable place.

Yes, I agree with Nemo. VED therapy is one where less vacuum pressure is much better than more. You do have to sort of jockey the mouth of the VED cylinder around a bit find the most comfortable position.

However, if you have an uncomfortable feeling to the point of minor pain, you could be over pumping the pressure somewhat. Experiment with different amounts of vacuum to arrive at the most comfortable position, etc. VED therapy takes some practice to get your self comfortable with the protocol and the amount of pressure you should use.

The Vitality one cylinder VED protocol was just recently revised to lower the percentage of erections, so take note of this and the times of each step. It was modified so that the penis would not be over extended while doing the therapy. Many members were confused as to the difference between Step l and Step 2 of the protocol. And, as a result, they were beginning to have more trauma occur to their penises.

Glad that you are seeing some positive results so soon in your therapy with the VED. Just be sure not to over pump the pressure and do not hold the pumped up pressure more than about 10 seconds. Once you have let the blood flow out of the corpora, then start the pump up cycles again for the prescribed time in each step of the protocol.

Let me know if you have any questions about any of the protocol steps.
