Title: Can pentox cause sweating at night
Post by: Litani on July 07, 2014, 10:43:29 AM
I started taking pentox 11 months ago. The first 2 months I took only 2 a day then I switched to 3 pills a day.  Now that it is a little hot, I am waking up with sweat.  Can this be a side affect of pentox?

It's possible. I never had night sweats, but I did occasionally have disturbed sleep and bizarre dreams while on pentox. Properly spacing out the dosages seemed to help.

Best,

I will second Skjald, in addition I did have sweating while on Pentox, even in an 18 degree Celsius air-conditioned room.
What helped me is taking the last Pentox not latter than 18:00 PM.

You are correct James.  I stopped Pentox for 3 days and the sweating stopped.  I restarted and it happens at high doses.

Some people have mentioned sleep disturbance from pentox, so I've always tried to take my last one before 5pm and have never had issue with sweating at night.
