Title: Iontophoresis AND Xiaflex
Post by: alec on June 18, 2018, 03:59:39 AM
I am starting Iontophoresis this week and while doing so for the next two months, I also have an appointment for my first round of Xiaflex with a different doctor.

Would there be any contraindication doing both at the same time?

May I ask what guided you to the Iontophoresis route?  I am fairly new to the forum so researching as much as possible for my friend.  thank you and good luck.

@ICare47

the Doctor said it would be an option if I had pain and I wanted to try everything that I could. I also read in a scientific paper that it might help with curvation for some cases (see above).

no changes yet. I had to skip a couple of Iontophoresis appointments. Xiaflex will start in a week!

I will keep you posted...
