Title: Is Xiaflex available on the NHS
Post by: MarkDS on June 24, 2018, 12:58:56 PM
I've had some conflicting views, so maybe it's a postcode lottery.

The surgeon I saw said that it wasn't, but a Facebook responder said they had the injections on the NHS.

Any recent experiences?

I think the London UCLH had it on trail, but not sure if its been approved for the NHS yet.

I believe it's called xiapex in Europe.

HI,

I saw a consultant at UCH today who said it was not available on the NHS and cost about a £1000 a shot privately.  Not particularly good news.

Kind regards,

Bob

Will they cover verapramil injections?
