Title: Post Penis Fracture
Post by: SouthernEgo on March 25, 2023, 11:08:54 PM
How's it going guys. So approximately 4 weeks ago I suffered a pretty serious penis fracture during sex. From what I can tell, I haven't suffered from any type of Peyronies symptoms other than a slight curve to one side and also some loss of penis length. My question is, can I utilize a traction device or VED after a certain amount of time to try and regain the straightness and try to gain the length that was lost?

Just looking for someone that may have had the same issues I'm going through and some opinions on how I can try to get this thing back to normal. Any help is appreciated

Have you been seen by a doctor?

I have. I had surgery four hours after it happened. I'm four weeks post op and I guess I was curious at some point if I would be able to use traction and VED to try and return my loss of length and straightness. I can tell I've collected some scar tissue on the left side so it seems when it gets a random erection it definitely looks like loss of length played a factor with my injury 😔

Ah, good! I worried you'd had a fracture and never saw a doctor. Glad that's not the case.

I have read somewhere a long time ago that it's not necessarily the case that a fracture leads to Peyronie's. Peyronie's is, essentially, an autoimmune wound healing disorder, and if a person is not genetically predisposed to have Peyronie's, even the wounding of a fracture won't automatically trigger Peyronie's. The wound will simply heal normally.

In your case, I think its entirely possible your distortion is simply due to the wound healing going on - after all, you're only a month out from the trauma and surgery. I would not necessarily assume this is Peyronies Disease.

As to using traction - I don't see why it wouldn't help regain length by stretching out the scar tissue, but this is VERY IMPORTANT. DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT USING TRACTION UNTIL YOU CONSULT WITH THE SURGEON OR AN EXPERIENCED UROLOGIST. The last thing you want to do is foul up what the surgeon has done before everything is fully healed.

So, in summary - I wouldn't jump to Peyronies Disease from your current symptoms. And second, don't touch traction until you get a sign-off from the doctor.

I wish you the very best!

Thank you very much for your input and opinion, it's greatly appreciatedd. I agree I will ask the necessary questions concerning the traction and VED when my next appointment comes up. Hopefully I can get everything back to normal with time.
