Title: Hi
Post by: naturegirl on June 29, 2013, 01:21:48 PM
Hi, I 'm naturegirl, married to a sufferer.  He was diagnosed just over 2 years ago.  We have been married nearly 30 years & have always been a very sexual couple. He is 62,I am 56. As you can imagine that was a pretty devastating blow, the pain & the bewilderment had a negative effect on relations for a while but with the help of our family doctor and a very understanding Tantric practitioner we have been able to work around his little problem & even been able to turn one aspect to our advantage!
I am looking forward to reading all your experiences & sharing ours with you.
One thing that is puzzling us is that while the progression of the disease has gone pretty much to plan,  the "lump"  has vanished but his penis is still curved.  We have not been down the surgery route as the curvature is manageable and in fact we have found that when we have intercourse in certain positions the curve can actually improve my own pleasure by bringing the tip of his penis into firmer contact with my gspot, but I know that he finds the appearance of his penis embarrassing and the fact that the lump that is at the root of the problem has now gone is frustrating him even more now.
Have any of you had a similar experience?

Naturegirl and other travelers- I and others have commented on peyronies limiting the positions available for sex. Since the curve came we have not been able to do the "missionary position". Somebody said somewhere to put a pillow under the lady's ass and the entry will work. We just tried it and low and behold, penetration felt almost normal!! Regards Inkhorn

I have been advising putting a pillow under the wife's butt for many years. Yes it does work. It changes the angle slightly and allows for better penetration and movemen. Everyone I know that has tried it still uses it.

Also ladies are reading this forum. Try to clean up the language a little.

JackP- Sorry, usually not my style. Got a little excited at success, I guess. Good manners are always in vogue. Regards Inkhorn

Hi Naturegirl.  I'm a male  aged 70 and married. We are a very sexually active couple. My wife is 69.  I was diagnosed with peyronies 15 years ago. We had difficulty having intercourse due to my severe upward curve. My penis is about 6" long but very thick 7" in circumfrence. When fully erect there is a pain at the base of my penis.   I read all the literature and when I saw corrective surgery I said NO WAY.  My GP is a woman and I discussed my problem openly with her and she examined me. At this point in time I started having ED  due to psychlogical problems.  I took CIALIS and things improved slightly. I requested a trial with CAVERJECT injections although this was not recommended.  However, Its 5 years now and I inject twice a week and I have the most amazing erections. Our sexlife is fantastic.  The best thing is my curvature has reduced to almost normal. What pain is involved with the injections is minimal compared to the results.  Talk to your GP about this.
