Penile Implants / Re: Deciding to get an implant
Last post by Pdxguy - March 23, 2024, 08:14:15 PM
3/23/24 11 days post op
I'm starting to get used to cycling. I feel like my number of pumps varies quite a bit probably because sometimes I get a full pump and others more like half a pump. It seems like sitting in hot water definitely makes the pump softer, and I can push it further. Yesterday I was able to get 47 pumps but today I was only able to get 39 the first time then 30 the second time. I'm trying to keep track of my progress but with the inconsistency of the pump being full or half. Does anyone have the same experience?

Xiaflex Injections / Re: Unsuccessful Xiaflex 10 ye...

Dr Trost has good results with patients who have failed with Xiaflex in the past. While the old Xiaflex protocol was not very effective, it did make the plaques softer, which improves the outcome with the new protocol.

Quote from: Mikel7 on March 08, 2024, 08:56:27 AMDaytime erections for some men are non existent. If you are having normal nighttime erections then I would not obsess over it. Being inactive with long sitting times is not good. You need to adopt a healthier lifestyle which includes exercise and the like. If Viagra made you sick you could try Cialis. It can take your body a period of time to get accustomed to the drug regarding side effects. You are probably still in the acute stage and need to remeber that peyronies is a marathon and not a sprint regarding treatments.

Right! Need to move more for sure. Someone told me because I have lowish blood pressure, drinking lots of water with the Viagra would help with the side effects of flushing, tiredness and light headedness, I tried it and it helped. I have had Peyronies Disease for 4 years, is that considered acute?

Make an appointment with Dr Trost in Utah. I went from huge curve to ramrod straight with his Xiaflex treatment. Many such cases. Search the forum for Trost success stories.

Xiaflex Injections / Unsuccessful Xiaflex 10 years ...
Last post by Cantstopme - March 23, 2024, 07:16:06 PM
Hi all. I have a pretty major dorsal type bend, probably about 45 degrees. I went through Xiaflex injection treatments about 10 years ago and it didn't really do anything at the time so I'm still living with this deformity. However, at the time, I believe maybe the plaque wasn't done developing and that could have been a reason why the treatment was unsuccessful.
Any thoughts or science on that?
Has anyone had a similar experience and then done Xiaflex treatment again with success?
Has there been any new treatment options that actually work in the last 10 years?
TIA

Okay, thank you very much for your feedback!

I've consulted a lot of surgeons, and none has guaranteed that the sutures can be removed without damaging my penis or causing a recurrence of a new curvature.

Did your surgeon tell you about this?

I'm not sure who to consult, but I'm thinking of seeing Dr. Gelman again soon by video consultation

Where can it be purchased at once?

Hello Alex, I'm still in the postoperative period at 11 days. I believe he managed to remove all the previous sutures because so far I haven't been able to feel any. Regarding the curvature, I was really afraid of undergoing a complete surgery again, so I asked him only to remove the sutures. Thank God my penis has remained in the same shape and the curvature didn't regress after the removal of these knots. I'm quite pleased with the surgery's outcome so far. This was the only surgeon who mentioned the possibility of the penis not losing its shape after the wire removal. I visited several others who said the curvature would return to its pre-surgery state. I chose him because I watched some videos online, and he truly is a great specialist. He performs this surgery about three times a week!

Hi
It is now 10 weeks or so since the operation.
Penis is straight , noticeably shorter than it was, I guess I have lost around 1 inch in length when erect , but that is not really any concern. Penis is straight, it remains slightly chunkier than before and has healed well. Wife and I have resumed intercourse, and while there was some mild pain, especially at the time of ejaculation all went well.
So far then mission accomplished. Going from a plus 70 degree bend to no noticeable bend at all with sex all but impossible , can have sex whenever we want with no issues. It feels a little different but I think that is more to do with the circumcision to be honest, as I get much more sensation from the head of the penis now than the shaft. My follow up appointment was pushed back 2 weeks, so will let you know what my surgeon says at that point re my recovery. So in summary , very happy at the moment.
