Title: When using the VED pump the bottom of my shaft grows whilst top doesnt - normal?
Post by: ohnoohno on September 07, 2022, 07:03:12 PM
In short, my plaque is right below glans.

So when I stick pene in pump and pump, the shaft widens more and then it gets less width towards the top near glans (cause of plaque I assume.

Is this ok?

I hate this all so much it's so demorolising I just want to live life like a normal human and not worry about this. If they gave me cialis and just an easy excercise to do cool thats fine but struggling to do this f*cking pump device is sad. I messaged my urologist three times but no response as i'm guessing he wants me to pay another 200GBP just to talk to him again.. such a joke.. this is so sh*t

Yes you could very well have a plaque that is restricting things, but don't let that stop you from continuing your VED. Things are getting stretched out a little and fresh oxygenated blood is being supplied. Remember that this takes time. It is a marathon and not a sprint. I have been doing traction now for almost 2 years and have used the PMP and the Restorex. I have also used and still do on occasion VED therapy.

Hi Mikel, I was in a very bad headspace yesterday with all this.. I feel a bit better today.. I've done some VED and traction and feel more optimistic.. Thank you for your reassuring words..

So VED is a slow process? A marathon as you say. Each time am I focussing on just bring blood to the pene and stretching out the width?

Here are some photos of my situation:
Flacid, Erect 80%, you can see my issue is the indentation and bending downwards.. Is this the hinge effect I hear people speak on? It's weird being just under my glans, I hope it doesnt fall off lol!

Dr says I should be able to still have sex which is hopeful, I think I could right now, if it doesnt get worse..

Did it help you in any way?

Yes it does help and it has helped me with restoring some lost length and girth. Your photos don't look that bad and I'm positive that you could still have sex. You don't look like you have a hinge affect. That is where the penis has an area that allows the part above the indentation to be very unstable. Sometimes it can surround the penis circumferentially. So intercourse would be very unstable and dangerous and could create a worse injury. You should just keep with using traction and VED and be careful in regards to sex.

Does the head still point downards like this when you are 100% erect? I fully understand your frustration but judging from those pics of course I could imagine it will be slightly or perhaps moderately uncomfortable with the head tilting downwards like that other than that I'd say you are in better shape than most guys I see pics of. You have a SomaCorrect pump right?

If so, use it accordingly to the forums protocols and according to that the safest thing to do is never ever go past 10 seconds of holding after your dick inflated. Make sure you always remember that and keep patient and use the VED everyday because I have heard some guys who greatly benefited from it. My advice to you is to use the VED every day or maybe monday to friday and give it a rest saturday and sunday.

Do this for 6 months straight and follow the protocol to avoid reinjuring yourself and if you by that point have not seen any improvement I would say it's time to contact your doc or another doc as it seems you are not particularly fond of your current one ( ;D) and look for other alternatives.

To answer this question - yes it is fairly normal. This is partly because the plaque might restrict some blood flow, as you say, and partly because a lot of tissue kind of gets sucked up into the penis at the base. My penis looks a lot thicker at the base compared to the tip when pumping, and a lot thicker than during a normal erection.

I agree with Mikel - this is a slow process, do not worry if you do not see any changes over a few months. Do not rush it, take your time and listen to your body. If it hurts for any reason, pause and take a break.

I want to ask you though - does the top of your penis ever get filled with blood while you're pumping like during a normal erection? That is, what if you hold it for 5, 10 or 20 sec before you deflate, is there any difference? What happens after a couple of sessions (i.e. pump, hold for 10-20 sec, deflate, repeat), any difference? For me, the top never fully fills up with blood for the first 1-2 sessions and then it gets going, hence the question.
