Hi all,
I found a nice picture of what I think all of us are referring to as the cord that runs along the top of the shaft. I have it and how many of you have the same thing as in this picture?

I never used to have it when I was younger but over the years it's gotten more prominent as in the picture above. I know some of us have it and others don't.
This is basically my problem, anyone else have this as their problem?
If you stretch your penis out then feel the shaft it should be obvious.

Everyone has it, it's called the septum. In the PE community it is called the "steel cord," and it is said to limit how well you can stretch you penis if it is overly short. You can stretch it over time.

From what I gather, the septum is a vertical thing? This cord seems to be flattish and horizontal... like it's enveloping the neurovascular bundle?
So I'm assuming you also have this cord???

I posted the same question in the PE community hoping to see a response there too.
It's the demon of my life this thing! The Doppler says it's thickening of my tunica, the right side of this cord is thicker than the left and hence I have a gradual left curve.
I question the Doppler, as they say it's fibrous thickening similar to peyronies, which sounds odd. I almost always wonder if hard flaccid causes it to thicken.
I have the same cord on the ventral side as well just behind against the urethra running all the way along.
It's such a puzzle to me but it seems common that we think it's normal? lol?

It also appears to be thicker in some people and thinner in others. Mines pretty thick and it limits my girth and fullnesS. My penis used to fill out more like a cylindrical, but this cord flattens the top of my shaft in an erection almost even concaving in the center... the area hasn't the same sensitivity as well which makes sense if it covers the dorsal nerves.
Ummm... I'm using heat and traction to stretch it... hoping to reduce its thickness.... I actually hate this cord!!! Hate it. lol

I'd say this is not the septum but the neurovascular bundle (septum is the vertical separation between the two corpora cavernosa).
Did you have success lengthening this "cord"?
Yeah, definitely not the septum - the septum dives the two two corpora, like the septum of your nose divides the two nostrils.
Looks like the neurovascular bundle to me.
