Title: Modified Nesbit Plication
Post by: JamesM on July 16, 2016, 02:19:23 AM
Hello all,

This is my first post. I'm 52, married and I live in Dallas Texas.

In mid 2014 I developed Peyronies. To this day I have no known reason why I developed Peyronies. After several visits to my urologist he recommended seeing a surgeon. I tried VED. Didn't really help.

In October of 2015 I had my first nesbit plication surgery to correct a 75 degree upward bend. The surgery was painful, especially with nocturnal elections. By December of 2015 the curvature came back to roughly 60 degrees with some narrowing on both sides. In January of 2016 I had my second plication surgery. I have lost roughly 1 inch in length and I still have curvature around 40 degrees, still have the narrowing which has worsened. I have also started to develop some ED, even though my testosterone level is around 650. It's difficult to maintain elections. I've tried numerous medications, Stendra,Viagra,Cialas. None have really helped all that much.

The surgeon I saw is reported to be one of the best in North Texas.

Any suggestions on what to do next I would appreciate.

Thanks,
JamesM

A little more information:
Both of my surgeries were at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. Both were done by a surgeon referenced on these boards.

Regarding the VED usage:
I used an Andromedical Device 3 to 4 times a day, every day, 30 minutes each time for 3 months and curvature did not improve.

JamesM,
I am at a loss for what to suggest. Does your doctor provide any explanation?
