I'm going in on Dec 6th, first visit. I know the Pentox docs are here somewhere, I just have to find them, and print. At what point do I do the shpeel?
The nice lady making the appointment over the phone said the whole visit will take about 2 hours. I suppose there will be a time when the urologist listens to my history of onset, etc. Should I slip in there at that time the desire for Pentox? Or, do I wait until the end and see if he prescribes it. I don't want to seem too pushy or like a know-it-all to a "specialist" just because, you know, I have an internet connection. However, i'll feel even more desperate and panicky...and possibly on the verge of frustration and anger...if I wait until the "but doc" moment and he is reluctant or refuses.
I guess what I am asking, do you guys have any advice on how to present the Pentox documentation, or perhaps to test the waters before it may be too late to make a reasonable appeal for Pentox? What is the best method with the best chance of success?
As always, opinions welcome and very much appreciated.
what state are you from?
I would simply ask the Doc that you read that Pentox helps and would he be willing to prescribe a 90 supply for a trial period and you will follow up with him on a regular basis. If he is not a urologist them ask him to suggest one.
I had no problems with any doctor about pentox, most think it has no risk and really does nothing!
I have been on it almost a year and still can't remember to take my 3rd dose. I take 2 400mg in the AM and I have to take my 3rd pill at noon because it keeps me awake if I take it too late in the day.
DO,
Have you noticed any improvement or benefit from taking Pentox over the last year?

Sorry James. Maybe I should have put this in Open Questions and General Comments? Please feel free to move at your discretion to the appropriate board.
Just to follow up....
I received the package from the Urologist today, the pre-visit questionnaire. I was instructed to place any additional information or questions at the last blank page, and after completing send it in the mail. I am going to print the information on Pentox from here in the forum and include it when I send the package. Hopefully everything will work out.
