Title: Vitamin E & CO Q 10
Post by: richie2222 on November 15, 2022, 02:13:45 PM
Hi all -  I'm on pentox and cialis.  When I asked the Dr. about also taking vitamin E and CO Q 10 he said it doesn't do anything don't take it.  I know a lot of members take vitamin E and Co Q 10 along with pentox and cialis.   Wondering if anyone takes only Vit E and/or Co Q 10, because if you take it with pentox and cialis and your condition stablizes it's probably difficult to know if the vitamin E or Co Q 10 worked... Just curious the boards thoughts.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I think the guy who made the entire study which made COQ10 popular in the first place was shown to have falsified test results. That said it is a good antioxidant. I've used it myself maybe a year ago. Does it have positive impact on health? I'd def say yes. Will it do anything for Peyronies? Absolutely not imo so if you are using it for that purpose it's money in the bin.

As for Vit E that has hands down got to be the worst of them all. That's the first thing I heard when I had just gotten Peyronies. Take vitamin E, and so I did, for nearly half a year which was the biggest mistake because had I just taken daily 5mg tadalfil at that point instead of useless vitamin E I would probably have had a better chance to stop progression.

Nearly 3 years down the line with this disease and all my experiences with it I'd say the only oral supplements one should take with the purpose of combating peyronies are L-Citruline, and/or daily tadalafil or sildenafil. Basically supplements to help improve bloodflow to the area.

Also, you are already on cialis + pentox, that is more than enough.

Stick to those and it will most likely at least prevent serious progression.

Although I am 100% sure the doc who made the Peyronies/pentox study also used false data.
