Title: Effect of Sleep Deprivation
Post by: Hontas on May 09, 2019, 02:23:32 AM
Are there any sleep deprivation related articles that you know of? I might have found a relation for my case(especially for the pain), everytime i am sleep deprived it flares my peyronies so i have a few question about it. If you know any relationship with these two and the enzymes or stuff that might be increased while sleep deprived let me know

I notice the same thing. Even before getting peyronies being very tired made my dick "turtle". Now when I'm very stressed out or tired I also seem to have more inflammation than normal. More sharp pains and a smaller flaccid penis. I think it has to do with stress. I know stress can affect blood flow to the penis, but I'm not exactly sure what happens in the body that causes this. The only mechanism I know of is that your body increases blood flow to major organs instead of for example your penis in a "fight or flight" situation. It also happens when you're on MDMA. Everyone who ever used party drugs has probably experienced this before. First time I used MDMA my flaccid was almost GONE it freaked me out a lot. I think something similar happens when you're very stressed out and maybe the same thing applies to lack of sleep. I also get cold sweats and shakiness when very tired. Like I said, not sure what happens in the body when deprived of sleep, but I'm sure it is somehow related to more stress hormones in the body.

I had very bad problems with sleep and energy for many years. Now totally fine, but I know it was a problem for sure.

Lack of sleep and stress make everything worse, and cause major metabolic damage. But metabolic damage also leads to poor sleep, it's a cycle.
