Title: 6 sessions of Gainswave and I think it's a fraud
Post by: John Michael on February 15, 2023, 10:26:42 AM
:( I paid $3000 for 6 sessions of Gainswave therapy and there was NO improvement. When I reported this back to the provider they said "give is another $2000 and we'll try again."  There is no medical data suggestion that shockwave therapy will fix Peyrnie's disease.

Sad to hear.  I think the general consensus on the board is shockwave therapy doesn't do anything and could even worsen the condition.  I wouldn't continue it.  How bad is your curve?  Fill out your signature.  I would try restorex.  I've been using that for about 3 months so far and although I haven't seen much of an improvement, it hasn't gotten any worse.

Sorry that it did not work out for you John. When I see these prices for these type of ''therapies'' I cringe.

3k dollars for gainswave and shock therapy. I keep telling everyone on here stay away from these types of treatments you are only throwing away your money in the trash. Those doctors or whatever they are who perform these type of therapies for Peyronies have no shame.

John... this has been well known... but some guys still attempt the treatment. It is nothing more than a money grab. Sorry to hear that.

Totally understandable.. I did the gainswave treatment as well with no results. I wasn't privy to the forum at that time and when recommended I jumped at the chance.

Honestly a lot of us would do almost anything in the beginning to "fix" this problem. Someone offers you a solution that might work so you optimistically do whatever it takes.

I think the advice of the forum is good about not trying it but definitely don't beat yourself up about it. Keep the positivity going and hopefully some day you'll find something that works for you.

I'm about a year into Restorex myself annd eventually entered heat therapy into it. Surprisingly, I'm seeing some very small results. As mentioned many times in that forum, it's the long game with this weird disease that doesn't make any sense.

If there really was a 100% cure for peyronies either through a drug or other means the company would probably charge about 100,000.00 for it. Gainswave is just a big $$$ because they know men are desperate for a cure.
