Title: Questions for those that successfully improved their conditions.
Post by: healthyconsumption on September 08, 2021, 01:20:04 AM
Hi all, I'm new here and I've been a lurker for a several months. English isn't my first language, please be gentle.

First of all, I take my hats off to you all and all that you've been through. I've only been with this condition (also with hard flaccid) for a few months and I have to say that I'm scared, in pain, feeling somewhat hopeless, confused, and have been praying.

I picked up a lot of anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant, anti-atherosclerotic, drinking a lot of water, stopped masturbating, taking pentox (Trentol), eating good fats and a lot of vegetables, topical and oral magnesium, L-arginine, L-citrulline, N-Acetyl-Cysteine, blueberries, fish, Co-Q10, quercetin, the list goes on. I don't drink soft drink or eat sugary foods.

I have a question for those that have improved their Peyronie's over the years.

Do you avoid touching your penis? If not, do you massage it and how?
Do you have hard flaccid? This can be short and dense flaccid, or long floppy flaccid.
What supplements and foods made it better?
What supplements and foods made it worse?
Do you feel pain constantly?
Is beta-blocker making things worse for peyronie's sufferer? Some of the recommended supplements are beta blockers. Meaning, they low blood pressure.

I've gone from my very slight curve I had all my life in my healthy penis, to 15 degree left curve and throbbing pain in the glan, and in the spots where there are now raised bumps which keeps showing up on the shaft like it's progressing from left side of my penis to my right side. A history of adverse life events. Then when I broke up with my ex-girlfriend, I felt crushed and inadequate, which led me to jelqing and using VED. I was ready to start a new life with a new view and heal, and then this happened.

Everything went well until I developed hard flaccid. Which I mistaken for quick gain, then when it became tight and small hard flaccid, I didn't know, because it was winter here and very cold (I thought it turtled temporarily).

Welcome healthyconsumption to the forum! Your English is fine. First thing you should do is please take a minute to fill out your signature line? It's hard to remember your case details out of 20,000 members. You can find instructions here! - https://www.peyroniesforum.net index.php/topic,10819.0.html . You will get better responses from members when they know more about your situation.

Next you need to study the survival guide ==> https://www.peyroniesforum.net/index.php/topic,3180.msg44057.html#msg44057 . This will educate you on peyronies and some forms of treating it.

You should first try to get an appointment with a peyronies Dr if it is possible and be evaluated. Using VED therapy as presented here and gentle traction with the Restorex or PMP can help improve things.  I would limit your sexual activity and let things heal up.  Your diet looks good and the supplements you are taking should not harm you.  You may also look into adding Cialis also.

You did not mention how your erections are? Emotionally this is a shock to you and you will get through this. Don't dwell on the negative about this because all of us guys here have gone through this also.  Keep reading the forum and educating yourself about this. Exercising is always good for our health and our bodies and minds. You are going to make it through this!  :)  Mikel7

Hey,
I'm one of the lucky guys, who has success with a multimodal treatment (combination of treatments) and I try to answer your questions  :)

1.I touch my penis in normal situations like peeing, masturbation and my girlfriend touches my penis, when we have sex. But ONLY if it doesn't hurt and more gentle then before.
2. I don't have hard flaccid.
3. You can read the supplements in my signature and postings. Only taking them didn't help me, but in combination with traction, I've seen improvements.
4. At the beginning I felt pain constantly, but today only sometimes after sex.

I hope, these answers help you a little bit. This forum has helped me a lot. For treatment options and mental health.
