Title: Question concerning VED therapy for trauma-induced Peyronie's
Post by: artguy1 on April 25, 2015, 08:58:28 AM
I've read quite a bit in the forum about VED therapy to help with Peyronie's curvature, but does anyone have and information or experience concerning the use of VED when the condition was trauma induced?    Even at age 65 I had always been straight as an arrow until an incident during vigorous intercourse.   The damage was immediate and obvious.   It felt/feels "broken" at the base of my member with a 90 degree dorsal bend to the left.    Would VED use possibly improve the condition or make things worse.   Injury occurred about 7 months ago.   But, thinking the injury would heal by itself, I didn't see a urologist until last month, and have been put on Pentox.    The urologist I saw didn't say anything about VED or any number of other possibly helpful things I've since read about in the forum.   Thanks for any help, advice and/or opinions.  --artguy1

Proposing you to invest time and read the forum.
Nothing special in having Peyronies as a result of trauma. In my opinion, from reading all the posts on this forum, more than 70% of the Peyronies sufferers got in from trauma during sex.
Regarding your urologist, it is good he put you on Pentox, but Pentox alone is not enough in my opinion. You are 7 months on this, better make now everything you can to stop the progressing of the disease.
And have many things to do!!!

artguy1,
Did your doctor say it was Peyronies. What you describe with the damage being immediate I would suspect something broken, torn, etc.

Two different urologists diagnosed the condition as Peyronie's.  --artguy1
