Does someone know when there's going to be the possibility of receive xiaflex outside US? Or may I just travel to US to get treatment?
loloc
I have no answer to your question, but I deleted your other post as according to the forum rules that I suppose you never read them it is forbidden to post twice the same post.
James
Already doing cycles in the UK Ioloc.
What is the "UK Ioloc" Ive?
Sorry for the ignorance.
James
Wow!! Its here already! Accepted by FDA just a week ago! In my first month of disease :D
James, Ioloc is the name of the person who posed the question!
Ive
I can still read and write Latin letters in 9 languages.
Ioloc is not = loloc. I is the capital letter of i, L is the capital letter of l. Isn't it?
loloc
You mean the Xiaflex is approved in Spain and it is available for treatment?
James
Ah small typo on my part James.
Sorry it threw you so much!
loloc,
What's the name of the drug in Spain? It remained Xiaflex or they changed it to something else?
In EU it's commerciallized as Xiapex, and I was too fast celebrating the aprovement for peyronies after reading this news site.
http://www.pharmabiz.com/NewsDetails.aspx?aid=86551&sid=2
In their site it still only stays as treatment for Dupuytrens disease and not Peyronie's, so I still don't know when it's going to be working here in Spain or neighbor countries :(
Cheers
Yes Xiapex here too in the UK.
loloc my Urologist said to me that, although he doesn't have the data yet, he is strongly of the view that the drug will prove to much more effective and yield much quicker results for those who are in early stages of the disease.
He thinks for those with 'mature' Peyronies the plaque is that much harder and more difficult for the Xiapex to soften.

Are you sure this is up-to-date loloc?
Seems strange that Urologists in the UK are using it and taking money for the treatment but not elsewhere in the EU.
Well it's what I saw in the webpage. And my doctor didn't mention anything about E vitamin and surgery... Where else can I get information about it? Found nothing on the web...
Which webpage are you referring to.
The manufacturers of Xiapex are US based Auxilium if that's helpful.
I refer to their page:
Xiapex: Home (http://www.xiapex.eu/home/)
It says absolutely nothing about peyronie's.
This seems to suggest it is available (try a search for SOBI):
Development and Regulatory status
UK: Launched
EU: Launched
US: Launched
UK launch Plans: Available only to registered users
Actual UK launch date: February 2015

Sobi received approval from the EU Commission to market XIAPEX for the treatment of adult men with Peyronie´s disease with a palpable plaque and curvature deformity of at least 30 degrees at the start of therapy. Sobi now holds MA for XIAPEX for Peyronie´s disease indications in 28 EU member countries, as well as Norway and Iceland [16].
