Back in 2005 I went to a California based urologist to inquire about my moderate leftward curvature in the middle of my penis. He asked me a bunch of questions (how long have you had the curvature? (as long as I remember getting erections), is it painful? (not really) etc. Without really examining the penis he immediately diagnosed it as congenital curvature and pushed for plication to correct it.
I disagree with this diagnosis. The left side of my penis is hard throughout the entire penis when compared to the right but more importantly there is an extra hardened spot right where the bend is. It feels like there is a rope like restriction on the top part of the penis. The sides and bottom of that area are much softer but not as soft as the entire right side of my penis. Is it congenital curvature, Peyronies or maybe both? What do you guys think?
Personally, bro, I think you need a Peyronie's urologist who will take ultrasound/x-rays and find out exactly what's going on there. Asking questions is great but you can't properly diagnose something like this without an ultrasound.
Start by going to a urologist that deals with Peyronie's. Not every urologist knows about Peyronie's.
I will second MattFoley.
You have many good doctors in the US and you should see one. Your description sound more as Peyronies than congenital curvature, but I ma not a doctor :)

Keep in mind that it may be neither.
It could simply be a scar from a healed injury that happened in your youth.
