Title: Magnesium Chloride (MgCl)
Post by: Aroused on May 07, 2013, 12:56:06 PM
I found, in an spanish language forum, (not sure if links are allowed here, so...), a 56 years old man, who claimed to have cured COMPLETELY his Peyronie's Disease in two years taking magnesium chloride dissolved in water daily, with Evion 400 mg (a form of E vitamin), and venotorum. He says, what made the difference, however, was the Mg Cl.

Despite being ignored by phisycians, looks like, magnesium chloride may have a role in bodily fibrosis, being able to join to calcium all among our body and bring it back to the bones. Also, when you do drugs, your body seems to loose a lot of magnesium, etc... Is an important mineral for fibrosis and calcium/collagen deposition as lithium or zinc could be to nervous system functions, for example.

First of all, I don't wanna sell you anything, and if I'm allowed I coud link the post to see with your eyes. Also, some users replying there agreed with him that with Mg Cl the scar of Peyronies Disease was starting to get more soft, the dent was decomposing in a scar with little bumps... The method was dissolving 33-35 mg of MgCl in 1 water L, twisting the water with a non metalic spoon (wood, plastic), and drink in 2-3 takes daily.

Has anyone tried this? I wish I had seen it before engaging in Nesbit surgery. Now I want to help you to prevent it if not neccesary.

If no one has tried this, could anyone give it a try? Me, despite having passed surgery, will start doing it soon. I would like to confirm if this could be a good treatment to Peyronies Disease.

Best wishes  :)

I believe it helps for anxiety and sleep, and many of us are deficient as it normally comes from veggies but the soil is depleted.   However I can almost assure you it has not helped peyronies.  I would recommend it for general health only.   In fact in addition to omega 3, it is the only supplement I have not stopped taking, as it is difficult to get from diet.  I use it topically (arm or scalp before a shower).  This insures your body gets the right dosage as it only absorbs what it needs.

If the link is to an article and not to a site selling something then go ahead and post it.

I read yesterday an article how much Magnesium is important to our health in general.
Unfortunately I didn't save the link.

Sorry for resurrecting this old thread.

I just wanted to add details regarding the forum entry (http://archive.today/ui9iz#selection-1821.1214-1821.1267) that Aroused talks about. The thread is titled "how I recovered completely from Peyronie's".

His treatment was, basically, dissolving in his mouth a vitamin E 400 mg pill, which he says will stimulate natural testosterone production therefore increasing morning erections.
Also he drank a espresso-sized cup of water with Magnesium Chloride dissolved in it every morning, and another one before going to bed (35g of Magnesium Chloride per 1 litre of water). Then he drank a glass of water to take the bad taste off his mouth.
He claims the purpose of Magnesium Chloride is to reverse the calcification progress.
Then he says he took Venoruton 500 mg (Troxerutina, which I believe is the spanish translation for Troxerutin), to improve his venous circulation.

He is 56 years old, Argentinian, and he followed this treatment for 2 years. He started having morning erections after 6 months, then, after 20 months suddenly he noted improvement in size, girth and curvature (he had a left curvature caused by a sexual accident, woman on top).
He had a scar in the left side of the shaft, close to the base of his penis.
In a reply, a Spanish man says he's experienced improvement with a variation of that treatment (1000 mg of Troxerutin instead of 500 mg).

Another guy, 27 years old, claims he's also improved following the same treatment.

There's another thread (http://www.portalesmedicos.com/foros_medicina_salud_enfermeria/ubbthreads.php/posts/165837/Me_estoy_curando_de_peyronie) started by a young guy (25 years old), following a very similar treatment (Troxerutin 1000 mg, Magnesium Chloride, Vitamin E 400 mg, massages with warm water).

He says he started to observe improvement after 3-4 months, first in curvature and a little bit in girth, then he noted how the plaque started to reduce in size. The plaque at the time of writing, feels softer and smaller.

The dosage of Troxerutin varies from 500 to 1000 mg a day, and the pattern seems to be 1 month on, 1 month off.

Magnesium "oiL" is also readily absorbed through the skin.

I agree that a combiantion with a supp or lifestyle that improves circulation is very important. Doesnt need to be that specific med I think.

I have been looking to try magnesium chloride also. As I cannot find the product in my country in powder form, I found it in tablets at 520mg/tab in the US.

Do you think I should give it a go?

I think I'm adding this, along with citraline maleate (sp?) and Ubiquinol (instead of CQ10). ...

Melting,

do you think that the oil form of MgCl reaches the affected area of the plaque better than taking an oral supplement? Do we have any evidence of how "deep" into the penis can the oil reach?

I actually need to say. I don`t understand yet why people in this forum try so many stuff, but nobody seems to take magnesium in a regular way for at least one year. I can read in English, Portuguese and Spanish and there is so few English speakers taking Mg, but so many Spanish speakers taking it and saying good things. I know some people take it and don`t get good results, but maybe that is because the person is not so healthy... I warm bath is also a good choice as a together treatment. Please, try the treatment guys. I started it three weeks ago and I am already starting to see some results...
Good luck for everybody!!! God bless you guys!!!

I second that. I have started taking MgCl in tablets towards the end of May. One in the morning and one before bed at night. I continued taking Pentox, Potaba, Alcar, Cialis, small chunks of ginger etc during that time and I did improve my quality of life, i.e. started having daily swims, spent a lot of time in the sun and the like. At the beginning of July I checked up on my urologist and to our astonishment the plaques were not detectable any more! The one in the septum (calcified previously) was gone and the indentation over and below the body of the penis at that point disappeared as well. The bending though on the other 2 parts of my penis was still apparent.

My urologist advised me to carry on with my regimen as it seemed to be working. I started having sex at the time although I was super careful and quite stressed. That did take a toll on my then relationship which ended not very long after. It wasn't my best time psychologically and in combination with alcohol, sweets, bad sleep, and running out of MgCl during August, I ended up with a partial regression. That is, the septum plaque along with the indentation reappeared although the bending on the other 2 parts of my organ improved a bit. It's been almost a month since I have started taking MgCl again and I can only hope the situation will be reversible once again.

From my point of view MgCl is well worth trying. If I do have a positive result a second time I could positively say it does help in my condition.

I must say I have done a lot of praying during this time, and God may have played the most important role in this, but this is only my (subjective) opinion.

There are many forms of Magnesium out there.  Can anyone comment on why MgCl is the form of choice in this case?

Been taking Mg for a while now.  I seem to have made a tiny bit of progress, but haven't measured.  I'm out right now, and need to get more of the "Slow Mag" supplement.  Been taking 1200mg /day of it.

Yes clearly better then oral as oral will be spread to whole body and lets say you have bad circulation in penis then nothing reaches the tunica. But you can still also use some oral to have it systemic.

Especially in combination with DMSO it can go deep. Not sure with magnesium alone. It is clearly shown to penetrate tissue in medical publications but how can we know exactly how deep and how much?

Magneisium Citrate is good. There is a product called TripleMag I like. But transdermal as noted above is the best way. You spray on your skin and wash off 20mins later. Or throw Magnesium salts into the bath. I got an IV of Magnesium yesterday!

Cheers,
