Title: Bring back my penis post surgery.
Post by: TOFC2802 on August 27, 2019, 08:29:42 AM
This is my 1st post and I am sorry if I don't do this right. I am looking for a tried and true method to bring back the penis I had before my peronies surgery that has left me with the penis of a 5 yr old boy. I am 2 yrs post surgery and haven't had sex since 2016. This disease has cost me just about everything including my wife. Please if anyone knows anything or a dr that can help let me know. Thank you.

Hi there.

What surgery did you have?  What issues have you got now?  Residual curve, loss of length and girth?  ED?

I had surgery 14 weeks ago.  Have a 40 degree residual curve, loss of around 2 inches, loss of sensitivity, borderline ED.  But I have managed to have sex a few times.

I had a severe curvature 95 degrees to be exact. It started out to be a 45 min plication method when that didn't work he tried a grafting procedure. The curvature is better than it was now I only have a 45 degree curvature. But I also lost 3.5 in of my penis and almost 1in in girth.

TOFC2802.............You sound like me.  I have a bend of probably 90 degrees to the right, and have lost at least 3 inches in length.  I've been working on it for a few years, and have gotten nowhere with it.  I saw only one Urologist, and claimed that he couldn't find any plaque.  I'm about ready to throw in the towel.   Good Luck with your problem.  dplookin

Don't throw in the towel. There is something out there we just have to find it. It sucks I haven't had sex in 3 years. I lost my wife. I am not giving up yet. I had surgery 2 yrs ago and now I am right at 45 degrees. The problem now is I can't stand to look at my self. That is causing sexual disfunction. I am talking to a urologist in Atlanta Ga. I will let you know how that goes. They seem to think they can help in straightening and get some of my length and girth back. I guess we will see. This has already cost me a small fortune in gadgets and devices that claim to work. I wish people would quit preying on us and actually come up with something that helps.

I am at loss to understand why any doctor still does these surgeries at all. Grafting I can understand with or w/o and implant. The sliding technique I can understand but from a mechanical standpoint, I tend to think it will cause 1 sided narrowing. Along with an implant that might help but I do not know if it is practical or can be done in combination. One thing I have read hundreds of times over the years is lost length. Sometimes substantial. I CANNOT fathom why a  95° curve is only reduced to 45°.  What kind of blind a$$ doctor cannot see it is straight when before he closes?  I suggest both of you seek alternative types of therapy and or surgery. You cannot keep doing the same type therapy that produces crappy results with an expectation the next result will be fabulous. Below is a link to simple graphics showing how these surgeries are done and why they almost always lead to a shorter penis. In my opinion, they should never be done except for the very slightest curves and then why have surgery at all?   Below that is an link to a thread where I explain all 3 surgeries. Second post in the thread.  My hope is understanding will help you decide where to go from here. Cheers men.

Dropping down to an inch or excessive loss after grafting, plication, nesbit or S.T.A.G.E.  may be caused by your own bodie's safety mechanism of fight of flight to save my penis. Remember sitting in a chair warm and nake and touch your balls and they would withdraw?  Remember you penis would do the same when it was cold?  I think the organs for propagation have a built in fell from danger mode that they hide, pull themselves closer to the body to protect themselves. After surgery, you poor penis despite not knowing why that screaming banshee with the scalpel was attaching it, still feels the pain from the assault and afraid to the be the turtle that comes out of it's shell for fear of another round of let's butcher a snake.   For that reason think it needs to be trained out of it's safe hiding zone with a vacuum pump.  My preference would be wet pumping to keep you penis in a happy zone with warm water. Train it to understand it is safe to come out now.  There is no doubt the penis and balls shrink and draw up sensing danger. Gentle wet vacuum pumping may train them the onslaught they endured is over.  Cheers.

Do you have peronies, believe me I understand all 3 surgical methods. When your at the end of your rope and a dr that is believed to be at the fore front on method to correct your condition tells you this is what needs to be done you do it. I had gone in for a plication and he ended up doing both the plication and the grafting in the same surgery. He also used a synthetic grafting material that didn't take. All of which was done while I was under under and had no say in the matter. Yes if could have a do over I would definitely look at different options knowing what I know now. So at the moment I am looking for something to correct the damage that has already been do. That is why I am on this forum but I have yet to hear a success story or happy ending.

I guess you could say my grafting surgery was successful.  I gained all my length back 5 months post op.  I am curious if the pelvic floor therapy I had done had anything to do with it, as it removed all my pain and soreness.  Curious if relaxing the pelvic floor muscles resulted in more length returning

Do you have peronies, .

I believe this qualifies as a bend. 2 years post Titan implant. Dr. said it would take grafting also to get it 100% straight.

In my opinion Alibaba, the bent is very small and don't worth a surgery.

Yes James. That was the position of Dr. Kramer and myself.  He has offered to straighten it completely but I have no interest in an additional surgery unless my implant fails or something along that line.  Cheers.
