Title: "Iontoforesis", what is?
Post by: ledder on September 01, 2015, 01:33:42 AM
Hi,

does anyone know what is the "iontoforesis" treatment?

Did a search and only got two answers. A doctor in Spain performs it (Dr. Natalio Cruz) so I think it'd be interesting to have as much information about it: how long has it been going around, effectivenes, secondary effects, etc.

Thx in advance.

Iontophoresis isn't a treatment, it is a method by which substances can be transported through the skin with the use of an electrical field. The technical name I think is electromotive drug administration.

With Peyronie's iontophoresis would be used to get more of an active treatment drug through the skin and to the plaque. You'd need to find out what that active treatment drug would be before I could comment.

I had no intention of making you to apologize Ledder.
I am a strong believer of the "search" feature; the main reason is that I suppose the question was answered before, some of the members will not answer again, some/most are not active anymore.
