Hi all,
Two years after getting Peyronies Disease I am finally having the op. Although I must admit to being nervous about it, I know that I am in the best hands in England for my op.
To be honest, the knowledge that I shall be able to resume a normal life after so long is so encouraging and fills me with optimism.
I am not looking forward to the immediate days following the op as I know these will be subject to considerable discomfort at times and worrying moments as well.
Just to add that I spent ages using the VED and latterly a Restorex, all to no avail.
Anyway.with any luck , I shall never need them again and life with my wife will return to normal 😊

I hope you do well.
I had a Nesbit and it reduced my length and girth.
It did correct the hinge, but it did more harm than good.
I had ED problems going into the surgery because of venous leak. Why the doctor never recommended or even discussed an implant was a big mistake.
4 years later I had to get an implant because meds and injections into my penis failed to give me long last erections. In actuality, the injections created more scar tissue and size shrinkage.
The implant although excellent, was never able to recover my full length, although it did increase my girth.

Best of luck with your surgery Muttley. You are a long time member of this place, I know you have gone through some tough times with this disease. I hope evertything goes well. I have to be honest here though. I think the only real surgery peyronies sufferers should consider is an implant. I have read so many other of these stories where men end up getting nesbits/plications or grafting surgeries yet down the road they still once again end up deformed. I do not mean to sound negative here but I just want you to know even if everything turns out great, you should know that there sadly is a risk that you might end up deformed once again with time.
Hey Muttley, good luck on your surgery. Just like Stepone said, this can surgery may not give you a very desirable outcome given the insane reports about reduced length due to the way that this surgery normally goes.
At your age and implant could have also been an option, but normally it is not discussed unless the patient has had severe ED for years. It's sad. Their argument most of the time is that ''you will lose your natural erection''. Sigh
