Just 20 minutes a Day reduces all bodily inflammation in the blood
Thanks for the link Diehardpatriot!
Yes, I agree with them, and it's still good to have common sense confirmed by science. I believe they made similar fascinating studies on yoga and meditation, which I'm practicing as a beginner and do seem promising. Moreover, I can testify that swimming (which I've been practicing from a long time but periodically) does seem to have anti-inflammatory effects (has to be done 3 times a week though), unlike weight lifting which IMHO might not help regarding the inflammation processes specifically (I mean, with 3 weekly sessions since 2 years, I do NOT feel as "physiologically chilled out" when I finish a weight lifting session than when I get out of the pool or of the yoga class).
Like always, all of this also depend on one's personal metabolism... Mine seems to work much better when I do not eat eggs, dairy, white bread/sugar, etc. This disease forces us to discover and dialogue with ourselves, which is its only but true good effect!
Thank you for the infos.
I've been lifting for 11 months 3-4 times a week. I eat crappy half the time and feel great.
Haha great for you Swiss ;D!! What kind of weight lifting do you practice? Split, full body, HIIT?
I do a little of everything. Mostly lifting. When my GF dumped me I was in terrible shape mentally and physically. I just killed the gym all the time.
My regimen is to work out until I feel like I'm going to pass out and die. Then I leave and go home. Now that it's warm I'm putting in 30-60 miles on my Bikes week. I need to listen to my body though. If I'm tired I rest. I try to not over do it.
Wow, that's hell of a training indeed! Congrats for your bravery!! As you said, be sure not to over train though, as the symptoms are not funny at all (physical and nervous exhaustion, slow mind, etc.)!!
I understand heavy exercise can actually aggravate inflammation.
Yeah endurance type stuff, I'm all about HIIT and lifting heavy things.
Walking 30 mins a day can result in the same benefits as taking 10mg of viagra.
Could you link to the study where you found that information please Whatnext81?
