Title: Acute to stable..
Post by: Xavier99 on July 30, 2020, 03:20:56 PM
I've read it takes 12-18 months for flaccid and erect pain to go away.. my urologist said 6 months is more typical I'm at 3  months where all states kinda hurt... Does the pain slowly dissipate?  or do you just wake up one day and say "this is great my flaccid dick doesn't have that  mild constant  inflammation anymore" ?

If you read my earlier posts from Jan/Feb/Mar, I was just as freaked out about the pain and that it would never end.  I can say after 6 months for me it started to get better.  I still get a achy pinchy pain around my 2cm plaque, but it isn't that big a deal now.  Erections are still a disaster in appearance and pain at times, but flaccid is much more manageable.    It did fade gradually for me and once I started Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy 5 weeks ago and that has even further reduced my flaccid pain and hard flaccid.  Not sure if you been dealing with hard flaccid or not, but its also an a$$hole thing to deal with.

Good to know..  After being examined the other day by my urologist I'm pretty sore.. typically if I have sex my erection hurts pretty bad right around the plaque.. Without the viagra I prob wouldn't be able to do it sadly.. after sex (which I go really gently with and maybe just every 2 weeks) it hurts flaccid up to 5 days after.. if i completely leave it alone there is a dull ache still.. sometimes the plaque feels like it's moving or almost crackling while flaccid too. Traction was unbearable as my plaque is right under the mushroom left side. I basically have a tilted head with about a centimeter/1/2 inch  of shortening so far..
