Hi, guys

a little update:
I am 1 year and 7 months post-op and everything is ok. Still straight, no recurrence of the curvature. Length as before surgery, phallosan and bathmate did the job here.
Maybe I'll upload another photo...

I agree with Mikel7. The bend is going to be in the direction of the side the plaque is on.

I think tadalafil is better than viagara, since it last about three days. But the value of these pills, is it gives your penis a workout when you sleep. You get many boners each night, which stretches out your penis and pumps it. That stretching is good for maintaining length. I often wonder if I was using tadalafil a few years ago, I could have avoided peyronies, because the scaring may not have been able to take root with all the stretching at night while sleeping.

Progression of Peyronies Disease / Re: Plaque Position

Usually upward bends are congenital but you say that yours developed later. When a  plaque/scar tissue forms it will constrict or pull things together tightly. Only with an ultrasound could you possibly see if there are other plaques.  When your penis bends in any direction from peyronies ususally it is because of an internal plaque that is on that side pulling things tight.

It sounds like you've stumbled upon an interesting observation! While Viagra is primarily known for its short-term effects on erectile function, some users have reported experiencing longer-term improvements in flaccid size and erection quality.

One possible explanation could be the cumulative effect of improved blood flow over time. By consistently taking Viagra, you may be promoting better circulation to the penis, which could lead to these lasting benefits.

However, it's essential to remember that individual responses to medication can vary, and what works for one person may not work the same for another. Additionally, it's always a good idea to consult with a healthcare professional about any persistent changes or concerns regarding medication usage.

It might also be worthwhile to explore other potential treatments or therapies for Peyronie's disease, as Viagra alone may not address all aspects of the condition.

It sounds like you're experiencing a range of responses to your tadalafil dosage, which is not uncommon. Tadalafil, like other medications for erectile dysfunction, can have varying effects from person to person and even from day to day based on factors like arousal levels, stress, and refractory periods.

The fact that you're still in control of these erections and they're not painfully rigid or prolonged is a good sign. It suggests that your body is responding appropriately to the medication. However, if you're concerned about the frequency or duration of these erections, it might be worth discussing with your healthcare provider.

In terms of what constitutes a "good" amount of erection time, it's subjective and varies depending on individual preferences and health considerations. Generally, having regular, spontaneous erections, including morning erections, is a positive indicator of erectile health. However, if you're experiencing discomfort or if the erections feel unnatural or excessive, it's important to seek guidance from a medical professional to ensure everything is functioning as it should.

So to me I can see you are having a lot of anxiety and worrying about this. What did your urologist say and are you going to get the Xiaflex injections? Hopefully when you masturbated you had a hard erection and used a lot of lube. If you have pain afterwards I suggest using some heat therapy immediately to help things out.

Now with Xiaflex it does break down scar tissue. It is the modeling of the penis while it is healing that helps restore the normal shape that it should be. Dr Trost has developed his own modeling procedure with Xiaflex that is very successful with many of his patients. Read about them on the forum. Members have stated that he knows what he is doing when injecting the medication and then stretching and molding their penis.

Get a hold on the negative thoughts and don't worry about your future. You will come through this. Get a plan of action and work it out. :)

I'm really sorry to hear about what you're going through. It's important to understand that Peyronie's disease can be distressing, but there are treatments available that can help manage its symptoms and potentially improve your condition. However, it's crucial to seek medical advice from a healthcare professional as soon as possible. They can provide a proper diagnosis, discuss treatment options tailored to your specific situation, and offer support and guidance throughout your journey towards recovery. Don't hesitate to reach out for help and support, and take the first step towards getting the care you need.

If you are getting some pain relief in that position then that is where you need to focus your traction at. I received pain relief when it was angled upwards towards my abdomen. I would get soreness around my pubic pad where the base would sit after about 1 1/2 hours. I would then take it off for about 5 minutes and the soreness went away.
