Title: Acetyl L Carnitine???
Post by: JohnVermont on August 31, 2021, 11:21:57 PM
I just read in a study that Acetyl L Carnitine taken daily for 3 months reduced curvature from 15% to 8%!

I'm starting tomorrow taking it.

In my opinion and based on my own experiences: Only taking Acetyl-L-Carnitine doesn't improve anything. In combination with PTT/VED maybe, but L-Arginine makes more sense, because it increaes bloodflow and is an antioxidant. Tadalafil has showed best results in different studies.

Yeah i agree with Nolte here... I think traction/VED is the key. the only supplement that imo has a positive effect is L citrulline for me.. i'm slowly phasing out the rest (and don't want to take tadalafil due to side effects)

Every individual is different in their genetic makeup and chemical composition. It is true that approaching peyronies with traction and VED is beneficial.  Taking the supplements can also benefit you.  By themselves though you would have to do your own test to see just how much they would help you.

A combination of antioxidants , carnitine among them , can help but it required a long period.
