Penile Implants / Re: Titan

Yes, I have considered the AMS. Met with 2 high volume surgeons and they were pushing the Titan but think more because they are Coloplast COEs. I do have 70 degree curvature so want that corrected with the best implant. I am meeting with a high volume AMS surgeon in January then will make a decision.

Oral Treatments for Peyronie's Disease / Caffeine

Anyone else need to quit caffeine while on pentox? Did it help with lightheadedness?

Any other methods to minimize lightheadedness?

I am scheduled to see Dr. Darshan Patel in San Diego, who was referred by my local Urologist. I have both Peyronies Disease and ED and likely looking into a penile implant with him based on the recommendations.

It seems like his practice is mostly ED and Peyronies Disease and does a ton of surgeries for both.

Jackfromwa,

You mentioned that Dr Clavell used the scratch technique on you.  I've watched a video of Dr Perito, in Florida, using this technique.  It looks pretty aggressive.  Do you believe this had any impact on your recovery pain and/or time?  Also, did he explain why he prefers this technique to others, and did it help to increase the size of the cylinders he was able to use?

Thanks

I do have dogears, LOL, but over time they become softer.
I do remember when I first got the implant, they were sort of hard and when my penis was soft, I could easily feel them. I can't believe it's been so long since I had the implant, but now I really don't feel them.
Really the only time you will feel them is when you are soft. Pumped they are completely invisible.
One thing I have thought about and that is. Since my Titan Pump has a manufacturing defect and sometimes will not deflate, inflate properly, I may change over to the AMS model. I have heard it gives a more realistic soft look, but the Titan gives a more rigid penis.
Have you thought about the AMS with the new style pump?

Jack
What an interesting and thoughtful story.
Thank you for sharing something so personal and difficult from your life. I'm truly happy for you and your partner.

I sometimes joke that I have a "new" penis now, because it really doesn't resemble the one I used to have. But it never lets me down—other than the occasional pump malfunction thanks to a manufacturing quirk.

I've been on TRT since my stroke in 2015, and it has helped me tremendously. Unfortunately, my current urologist is often out of town, and his secretary isn't exactly helpful. My testosterone levels have dropped, and the earliest appointment I can get is January 8. That means my libido has dipped, and it's going to be a long month. Luckily, my husband is incredibly understanding, so the sadness is mostly just on my end.

Stay in touch,

Glad you got those answers. As you likely discovered, I was seeing an implant specialist 100 miles from home within two weeks of surgery. I appreciated having that resource and it helped me know I was making good progress and if something went wrong I knew where to go

Traveling with a traction device can definitely require some extra planning, but it's great that more places are becoming accommodating for different needs. Even during road trips, having reliable RV Parks Midland TX to stay at can make the experience much more comfortable and manageable.

I'm a 68 YO MALE, with an upward curve of about 80 degrees. No problems with achieving nor maintaining an erection, & although there's some minor discomfort during masturbation, I'm pain free.

My wife lost interest in all sexual activity about 4 years ago, and we've been inactive since then. We haven't had any sexual activity since the onset of Peyronies. So, although I've made her aware, her attitude was basically "your problem - not mine". Yes, it's torture for me. However, I'm committed to our 43 year marriage; until death parts us.

My desired feedback from women reading this is my curiosity concerning any of you whose partner has an upward curve. I asked my female urologist about the female g-spot, and if an upward curve might actually produce a g-spot orgasm in some cases. I would love to experiment with my own wife in this regard. But that isn't currently possible in our "celibate" relationship. So, if you or maybe someone you know has experienced a vaginal orgasm, based on the scenario described above, please feel free to comment, tell your/their story, and hopefully it will educate me (& others) on the possibilities. Thanks.

I won't take anything the doctor didn't prescribe. They did prescribe generic Viagra for sex though just to help with any anxiety there.

I went ahead and ordered the h100 gel because it won't do any harm and might have some benefit.

If I'm getting a traction device I'm doing the restorex. The only one that's fda approved. I'm curious why there's a theory that people think it will worsen it? If you're doing it properly while flacid wouldn't it help? I figured it wouldnt to hurt to get it in case it gets worse and or there's the other side that it can help lengthen it...
