Title: Xiaflex Journal for Gaussrifle
Post by: GaussRifle on April 16, 2021, 10:52:53 AM
Hello everyone, like in the implant board with people taking the time to make journals, I will be making a journal about my xiaflex experience. My first shot is scheduled for 5/7/21.
I am looking for improvements in my curve along with hourglassing/indentation.

Question: should I take the nerve block injection to prevent xiaflex pain. Any other tips you guys have for pain/swelling ?

1st round - Shot #1 (5/7/21)
Nurse induced an erection before doctor came in to give me the injection. The induced erection dint last long and had almost gone but was semi big enough for the doctor to feel the plaque. Doctor injected xialfex on both the left and right sides of hourglassing /indentation areas. Told me he's going to try and tackle the hourgalssing/indentation first. Doctors said he could feel the plaque resistance while inserting the needle.

Experienced transient pain while the injection was being administered that lasted about 2 mins. The pain was definitley there but bearable if you know what to expect. Having undergone prp injections in my scalp, I knew what to expect for a sharp stinging pain. Doctor wrapped my penis and told me to keep it on for 24 hours. Gave me a sheet on performing modeling and told me to do restore x traction as much as I can tolerate. I will not want to try traction within 24 hours,  but will start hand modeling until I feel comfortable, plus it's only my first shot. I get me second shot of round 1 after a week. My injections are spaced one week apart.

First I've heard of injecting an erect penis.  Hopefully you are in very experienced hands

I did not have an erection induced for my Xiaflex and I declined the anesthetic shot. He never even mentioned possibly inducing erection. My plague is/was big, on top (dorsal) and obvious where to inject the Xiaflex. My doctor basically said, do you want an extra injection in your penis for pain or just bear the transient pain for a few minutes after the Xiaflex injections. I opted for no anesthetic and it was fine. I look forward to hearing more as you progress. Thanks for taking the time to write a journal on this and sharing.

Nice to read about you guys.

Last night shortly after taking my nighty cialis I had a semi erection that was a sharp stinging pain that got me out of my sleepiness. I don't think I had any more erections at night, I was also hoping I wouldnt.

This morning I woke up with a big swollen, purplish blue penis.

I have 3 questions for those of you who know :
1) Do I keep the wrap on my penis on. The doctor told me to keep it on for 24 hours, but some forum members suggest to keep it on for 3-4 days.
2) Do i continue manual modeling and restore X despite the purple bruising and blood collection on the skin. I am worried that counter bending from restore x will apply pressure on the blood collection. I don't think doing a counter bend all the way to 90 and 120 would be possible  ?
3) when can I expect the majority of swelling to go down  so I can counterbend to full 90 or 120 on restore x ?

Since you had hour glassing did you have any plaques/calcifications in your septal area? Or were they all just lateral/dorsal/ ventral?

With the three injections I had, I kept it wrapped until the swelling began to go down.  Also, I never modeled or even thought of traction after each shot due to how swollen I was.  For me the first two injections had the swelling go away in about a week.  My third injection caused a fracture, so obviously it was a longer healing period

How do you fracture a penis with injections? Could you explain?

Please don't talk about fracture on my journal......It gives me anxiety  :-[

I am doing restorex after the first shot first cycle. It's been 5 days since my first shot. My second shot is this Friday. I was wondering during why on restoreX I am reaching till Notch 4 or 5 only compared to notch 6 before the xiaflex injections. Is it because the injections hemota and swelling has reduced the stretching capacity temporarily?

1st Round - Shot #2 (5/14/21) The shot dint sting as much as the first shot. It was more like a bee sting. The doctor is currently trying to address narrowing and indentation. Next round he said he will address curve more. My curve and indentation don't line up exactly.

Status after 6 weeks of Round 1 - I noticed my curve go down by about 5 degrees and the right indentation improve slightly.

2nd round - Shot #1 (6/18/21)

Less bruising and swelling this time. The doctor injected xiaflex just a little above my indentation where my curve begins, seems like he is trying to address the curve more this time. The indentation looks a a little worse today ( after 24 hours) . I am guessing its because of the injection near the indentation so it's contracted temporarily. Hoping I don't lose out on the imporovment in indentation I saw with Round 1. Waiting for second injection of this round next Friday. Meanwhile I continue to use restoreX and hand modeling although not going crazy with full 120 degree counterbending and only going till 60.

How's everything heading up?

So far so good

2nd round - Shot #2 (6/25/21)

Doctor said they can no longer feel plaque on the ventral left side where I had before so that's a sign plaque is breaking. Doctor injected xiaflex on the right hand ventral side where I am bothered by some indentation and is hopeful it will get better.  Now it's upto me to do penile modeling daily. Next visit before my third round they will measure the angle to gauge improvement.

I have a big bulge like swelling on the top side which is non painful on touch, it's been there for about 2 weeks now. My concern is I measure my penis length on top side which was always 6 inches, now it is 5.5 inches. I just measured my penis 3 days ago and it was 6 inches then .....today and yesterday it was 5.5 inches. My guess is this bulge on top side which might be a edema or hematoma is preventing the top side to expand as much. I am hoping I will regain my length , lol I don't want to lose 0.5 inches from Xiaflex .... Scary.

Sorry to hear about your trouble. I hope the loss of length isn't permanent.

Have you been wrapping the swollen area? I've only been dealing with my hematoma for a couple of days, but I've been keeping it compressed full time in hopes it will help the swelling reduce quickly.
