What are folks thoughts on starting traction as soon as possible? I have a very slight curve less, 5-10 degrees. I started having pain just under four weeks ago. It seems there is research to support starting as early as you can. My concern was starting while the inflammation (ahead of the plaque, of which I have a small 1 near the head of my penis on the top side) is still forming. I don't want o exacerbate that. It wasn't clear to me after reading the research and forum. I also saw a few posts from folks who started early and worsened their condition. If the context is helpful, I am taking daily Cialis and arginine and debating a steroid shot to calm inflammation. Thank you everyone on this board. It's pretty awesome to see the support.
When did your problems start and have you been diagnosed with Peyronies? If your curve really is 5-10 degrees I would not risk doing anything unless you have for sure been diagnosed with the disease. In that case it would probably be for the better to start traction asap if you feel like you are willing to invest in it.

Thank you. Just filled it out! Ideas are welcome.
10 degrees is a very slight curve. How did you detect it?
By eye. Once the pain set in. I don't think I would have noticed otherwise.
I would absolutely advice to start traction as soon as possible. if the injury is recent you're essentially just not allowing the wound to heal with scar tissue in a contracted state. additionally you should also add daily VED.
I would recommend a protocol of traction with either PMP or RestoreX and end the day with about 30 min of VED usage.
The best time to start is when the wound has begun to heal and scar tissue is starting to form.
The sooner you start the better.
I'm in a similar boat to you. About 10% and recently diagnosed. How's the traction going. I'm going to start manual traction as soon as possible. Thought I have BPH also and just stopped finasteride (which I think caused it). I'm on daily cialis now.
Hey Mike - I'm in NY also with about a 15-20% left angle. Just ordered restorex and eager to try it. I have a similar issue about the scar tissue seemingly formed overnight in a couple spots. Good luck.
