Hey everyone,

Since I have found out that I have Peyronies Disease, I have drastically changed my eating habits in order to attain the best physical health. I eat nuts, berries and lemons, garlic, ginger, tumeric, salads, but of course these are not really satiating. The viands that I now eat and actually fill my stomach are sadly not to many - avocadoes, brown rice, sweet potatoes, and fresh fish (like salmon and tuna). I am aware of the fact that combating this disease is not done in a couple of weeks and so it is very dispiriting to know that I basically have to eat the same meal over and over again for a long time. Can someone perhaps share a bit of cullinary inspiration with which I can make my meals more variated? Am I missing out on something?

Also, in search of other beneficial food products, I remembered eating a vegetable called Yam, which is a tuber. I am neither a Peyronies Disease-specialist, nor a nutritionist, but it seems to me that eating Yam, which I like a lot, is not harmful, but, on the contrary, could be very healthy. It would be ideal if someone with more experience and knowledge than me could examine its nutritional value and inform me as to whether or not I should eat it.

A healthy diet can help, but if you have Peyronie's you'll want to start treatment.  See the survival guide here: https://www.peyroniesforum.net/index.php/topic,3180.msg44057.html#msg44057

Hey Tony,

Thank you for reminding me. I am about to order all the mandatory supplements (CoQ10, Acetyl-L, Citrulin, nattokinase, ginseng, pine bark extract) but, since I live in Germany, I struggle with finding a doctor who has experience with Peyronies Disease and doesn't believe that the only option is to be patient and if it doesn't get better or worse I can only undergo surgery to get rid of the curvate. I have an appointment with a doctor tomorrow who actually operates men with Peyronies Disease, but I hope he is open minded eneough to prescribe Pentox and Cialis..

They may not prescribe pentox in Germany-if not coQ10 can substitute.  Don't worry about diet so much, more importantly I'd add traction or VED.

You're eating to many carbs and not enough fat.  I, and many others on this forum, eat a ketogenic diet.  I want to be clear, keto is not the cure to this disease.  That said, I've had success sticking to the diet and it doesn't produce inflammation which is precisely what I want.

My diet is very satiating, some of the things I consume are...
Ribeye, eggs, avocado, chicken, chicken liver, beef liver, macadamia nuts, walnuts, butter, bacon, pork ends, beef tips, pork belly, salmon, coconut oil, peanut butter, brisket.

There are other things, but my diet is very high in fat and as low carb as possible.  I try to be below 20g of carbs per day.

@Shafted The reason why I avoid eggs, bacon, butter etc. is because they are pro-inflammatory. This is also the reason why I eat high-carb foods like sweet potatoes and brown rice, because they are anti-inflammatory. So could you explain to me how living on a ketogenic diet which includes red-meat and eggs is anti-inflammatory and how this low-carb diet helps with Peyronies Disease? Perhaps it is helpful to add, that I never experience any penile pain and the only problem I have is that my penis bends to the right, which occurred after forceful masturbation.

Quotedispiriting to know that I basically have to eat the same meal over and over again for a long time.

Then most probably you are not getting the nutrients you need. Try to add more variety in smaller amounts than the diet you follow.
